Thats a good thing. I would even say as things stand our academy is better than theirs, I believe we have the best academy in the world, it will just take some time to proudece players, it was only really built two years ago. We have some promising youngsters coming through in Diaz, Sancho, and Foden.

At first I liked city because I thought they were going to build their own in England through England youth, but after the second season of rebuilding it became apparent that they were following barca and real blueprints of buying Brazilian/Spanish players to increase prestige

Would have much rather enjoyed them cultivating homegrown players like spurs are doing

 

Yeah thats the one thing tha t bothers me too, I want more youth coming through our academy, but we just seem to ship them off. For example Kelechi. We might sell him, why I really don't have a fvcking clue. Kid is a proven scorer in the BPL, and yet we are shipping him off.

They need to get rid of rudiger as well.

They need a whole new set of defensive players. If I was them, I would find 6-7 players who are between 20-25 years old to spend $30 million on, so $5-$4 million per signing.

That should give you competition at cb, lb and rb. The only hold over I would keep would be fazio.

I think they are going to move florenzi or the Brazilian guy to the RW position.
