Same here but a lot of players were around the play and that made it hard to see the truth.

Rojas did not have an ok game....IMO i think he did worse than what he had been doing...hopefully he can up his game causethe defense was pretty bad last night

He had been doing????? If you read previous post, he was not playing at all. If you are refering to the previous time when he played with America than yes but he did better than what the other defenders had been doing the previous season.

...Still needs to work on his crossing. He completely messed up on 2 that left the playing area. 1 of them was just plain ugly Rojas did ok. Not that great, not that bad but definitely better then Valenzuela.

yup, and his finishing too. but this has been his issue for a while now, i don't think itt'l ever get that much better

We agree on that, but he is still an important player for Bielsa and the national team as well.

Like others mention, he will not have improve that much at this point of his career. Ready to see if he plays now that we have Rosineli and Montenegro ready.

The thing about Rojas that I like is that he loves the jersey unlike the other defensive bastards that have come to america just for the money. I rather have a old player and maybe not as talented Rojas than a young Castillo who stated that he was even bored at practices.

Beausejour will not get benched, and if he does get benched, he will find another club.

Why? Montenegro was brought in to play up top with Cabanas, behind him in fact (as a 2nd striker). And Rossinei plays either on the right or in the middle. If he's to share time, I rather he move to a better team.

W have a rookie head coach who likes to put players out of position and test them on other.

Rossinei will likely take over Silva's spot (he's injured) and not Beausejour's.

If that's the case then I do see a future heated battle between the Chilean and the Brazilian. I'm ambivalent towards this but we'll have to see how things develop.

Why not? So Cerda is taking the spot of Silva huh?

Its going to be a good battle. We will have to wait and see if the roles of the wings don't change with Montenegro and Cabanas ahead.

Silva neither. He shares the same qualities of Cerda so I would not be surprised to him play that position this season.

Rojas has lost its starting positon, IMO. Not because of the penalty but the team needs to play with Valenzuela and Aquivaldo in the middle and O. Rojas and Cerda in the sides.

Jean missed two clear goals.
