Wow, what a cracker!! As soon as he left Reds, he is himself again... Mmmhhh... I was also wondering if his good performances will open the door to the K-League for those like Yanagisawa or Maki.

Uchida might have broken his toe in the Paraguay-match: http://sportsnavi.yahoo.co.jp/soccer/eusoccer/1011/headlines/20100910-00000020-kyodo_sp-spo.html Otherwise, according to kicker, tomorrow we might have the first Japanese match-up of this Bundesliga season: Kagawa vs Hasebe, both are listed in the starting line-up-prediction. Yano will probably not start yet. Guess he is benched and may well be subbed in in the 2nd half though.
Daisuke MATSUI: RUSSIAN LEAGUE IS VERY STRONG http://english.sport-express.ru/news/13_5053/ The Japanese midfielder Daisuke Matsui joined his new team Tom Tomsk and talked to Sport Express. "Football makes progress in Japan nowadays", Matsui said. "Despite our national team performed not so successful as everybody had expected, we al got very useful experience. I hope that Japan will become very strong football nation soon". "I was aware that Russian championship is very strong and interesting. Actually I was going to move to Russia several years ago, but I managed to do it only now". "I know Russian leading clubs, such as Zenit and especially CSKA, because Keisuke Honda plays in the Moscow team. Moreover Russian clubs often take part in European competitions". "I know that Tom is good team coached by Valeriy Nepomnyaschy, who worked in Japan". http://visualrian.com/images?text=matsui+daisuke§ion=photo Today Zenit v Tom Tomsk [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDavb1LRHlM"]YouTube - ????? - ???? 20 ??? ?????? ? ?????[/ame]
The Bundesliga's Japanese commentators are driving me crazy!!! The WHOLE DAMN TIME they just speak of Kagawa... he is on the right now... he is running... he could have crossed... he wanted the ball... he is marked tight... Give us a break, and talk about the goddam game!!!
to nakata101 It was a spin Petkovic, not Matsui. I really liked Daisuke in the first half, but while it lacks the strength to 90 minutes. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsEhF_U0QtY"]YouTube - 11.09.2010. ????????? ??????. 20 ???. ????? - ???? 2:0[/ame]
That first touch from Kagawa was great as it set up his positioning well for the ease of that goal. Hardcore strike.
Congrats on Kagawa's goal. Must've been an interesting game with two Japanese players. Good to see that Hasebe played substantial minutes as well.
Yano kisho came on 1 minute before friedberg equalized. They then went on to win the game! Wonder if he had anything to do with the win..

Almost as in the WC. He met Mr Inzaghi and of course it ended with penalty kick. Pato also ran away few times. Everyone in Cesena played tonight better than one could assume (even after a draw against Roma). If he keeps playing like that Cesena really can be only a short station in his career.
I missed the match, but the football italia report flagged Nagatomo for numerous mistakes including playing Pato onside (but Cesena got a lucky call in their favor), and giving away a PK. Sounds like if Cesena hadn't won he'd be the goat. Still, I believe he can be successful in Europe, and if it has to be Europe, I'm glad it's Serie A.
