Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] They got a red card so the manager subbed a defender in and Nakamura was the one of course.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] Does anybody know about Ina's situation at Rennes? The clip from his last match looked great, but apparently he did not play after that
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] He did not play the last two games. Kenji Fukuda is actually making a try at Boulogne sur Mer.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] I'm manufacturing news on a slow news day... but I see the Celtic website has taken down the Japanese language option (in it's place is now Chinese for Zheng Zhi). Hopefully this is a sign of things to come and Koki will be allowed to move on and develop his career somewhere else.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] Does anybody know Hidetoshi Wakui (b. 1983) of Bohemian Praha...? I have got an email from his manager, complaining nobody ever talks about him!
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] Hello Goru. I'd already mentioned him in this thread's first post: Actually I also tried to get some info about him and his team matches, but I found it hard to get any info about him or his club! I think his club should launch an english page with fresh updates and stats, so that fans from abroad could know more about the club and their player (especially our boy "Wakui").
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] To say the least he seems to have a really interesting life, meaning he boldly goes where no other J-player went Adding to the clubs he joined, listed on the English Wiki, the Japanese Wiki mentions that he went to Brazil after high school to polish his trade. It's true what Samurai Warrior said, there is hardly any info to be found in English or Japanese even. There is the strange constellation in Czech first division that his club obtained the name rights to 'Bohemians' 2005 from the then insolvent club 'FC Bohemians Praha' who went back into business and is now called 'Bohemians 1905' (and who have an English site btw). Wakui's club is 'FC Bohemians Praha' and they have the same mascot (a kangaroo) and unfortunately only an excuse of what seems to be a website. In Japanese it's the same, Wakui himself had a blog until beginning of this year (ttp://wakuihidetoshi.motherld.main.jp/) and moved to a new address which is defunct: http://www.hidetoshi-wakui.net/ It should make an interesting story, Goru. I have to admit that I love these kind of stories of players outside the spotlight...
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] And Morimoto finally does something useful by assisting the winning goal in Catania's 2-1 victory over Cagliari. Shunsuke fails to make a showing for Espanyol and they seem to be doing fine without him as they are leading 2-1 late in the game. And Honda fails to ensure victory for VVV as they drew 1-1 to Roda. Hasebe played the whole game with Wolfsburg winning 2-1 to Borrissa.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] Maybe it is too early but Nakamuras move to Spain could be disastrous.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] I think a lot of people feared this may happen. He needs to play in the middle of the field if he is to be sucessful. He has no freedom out on the wing.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] Morimoto assist. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VL8-6AxY9Xs"]YouTube - Serie A - 8 Giornata - Catania Cagliari 2-1 Martinez[/ame]
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] Morimoto needs better movement otherwise he'll never get the ball against Inter.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] Here's my gandychan impression: Morimoto failed to prevent Catania losing to Inter 1-2
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] He was just joking about a rather negative user (gandychan) who comes around this forum sometimes...
Re: Japanese Abroad 2009/10 [R] Ono assisted Bochum's 1-0 against Werder in the 1st minute. Seems to be in good form today according to kicker, but Bochum is trailing 1-2 at halftime.
