Ono said he didn't even know about the transfer on his website.
Maybe he can avoid injuries if he is back in J-league.
I want to see him and Inamoto partnering at the world cup, but where would that put Nakata?

Ok, first off Shinji will not be going back to Japan, I cannot see this happening. The manager himself said that Ono was a vital part of the Feynoord team, and would only sell if they recieved a decent offer, 2nd is that Shinji has his heart set on a move to one of the bigger european leages. A move back to japan would be seen as a step backword. If Urawa are trying to buy him i don't think Shinji will go. He is our best player, I'm sure he'll go to Spain or something in the summer after he scores the winning goal in the world cup final

Ok, just seen the thing that sais feynoord accepted a bid, I've been wasted for about 3 days i have an excuse. But i stand by what i said before, I think Ono will reject the move

He is pretty far down the line if you ask me, considering he never plays because of injury.

It seems Nakamura already practiced with Keane. Keane is great player, so I hope Nakamura will learn from Keane much.

Sevilla in the UEFA Cup drew 1-1 good game was watchin from the stands, should have won, we fell asleep for a minute and they punished us dunno what the hell our defence was doin other than that we were the better side.

Nakata played well but missed a sitter of a chance.

Boltan won 4 - 0, very good win, but Nakata did not play.

    Portsmouth 1 - 0 West Bromwich Albion :(
Inamoto played full time in seven consecutive games though.

Now Inamoto is being targeted by Kashima Antlers.
I wouldn't think he would leave now that he is actually playing all the time, but I'm glad J-league teams are going after guys.
Anyway, I think Kashima can get Koji back at least, since he doesn't even play in France.
As for Yanagisawa, I'm not sure.. he might enjoy the one minute he gets to play in Italy.

Here are my perfect transfers for Japan players in the New Years

Naohiro Takahara --- Feyenoord (Think he will score bags of goals in Hollond especially if Kuyt leaves)
    Koji Nakata --- Kashima Antlers
Shinji Ono --- Sevilla (Want him to go to spain)
Shunsuke Shatamura --- Real Sociedad, (I hate Scotland)

I think Yana will stay with Messina till the end of the season and Inamoto will stay with West Brom. I think Okubo is shi'te and should go play in Iraq so i never have to see him again
Also wouldn't mind seeing Yana back in J League, think it would do him some good

Is Kubo going to ever be healthy though? If I'd like a big, powerful goal-scoring man up front, I'd definitely like Kubo instead if he is 100% fit.

Suzuki I'm not too big on and Takahara can be on and off... but Kubo seems consistent to me, when he is actually playing out there.

Re: Official Japanese Abroad Thread 2005-06 [R]

Takahara played 25 minuites for Hamburg tonight

k_19 i agree with you about Kubo, and he has International experience. Whereas Hirayama is inexperienced at International level. It's just he hasn't played since the asian cup or something stupid like that, possibly before then. And i think he's injured again cause i don't think he played a game for Yokohama after Nov 20.He's just very risky. I would take either of them to the world cup instead of Okubo, he's just plain rubbish. I'd bring Suzuki also
