Tulio & Nakazawa made a miracolous WC (helped by Abe and no-FWs tactic) but till some weeks before the beginning of the competition they both own goaled ridiculously in the friendly vs England and our defence seemed worst than ever. Then the miracle happened and they conceded only 2 goals (1 irregular by Netherlands and 1 invented pk by Danemark). But imho we have no chance to develop some decent CBs in less than 2 years, and for decent I mean someone better than the best Yoshida. Maybe another miracle will occur (the jynx of the good/bad WC every 4 years is over till 2022) but better to improve in the finishing and try to rebuild the midfield with someone good as Endo/Hasebe of the past.
