Discuss any transfers involving Irish players here.

Much of the speculation, I suspect, will revolve around Aiden McGeady.

    Shay Given to Man City?

    Steve Finnan to Spurs?

Reports that Man City have bid eight million pounds for Shay Given. Despite City's millions, I would still regard that as a sideways move somehow.

Sideways at best perhaps. But it would appear that Given has done just about everything he could have at Newcastle and there's nowhere else to go.

By all accounts it the 5-1 home defeat to Liverpool that sealed the deal for him. By a country mile, he was the best player on field that day (both sides) and made 3 world class saves in the first 15-20 minutes. With a lesser keeper, Liverpool would have been in double figures.

(Also, I do remember seeing a lunatic report in November that City had bid £150M (yeah!) for Casillas).

Kilbane is moving from Wigan to Hull. Not a bad move as he has not been getting much playing time at Wigan this year.

Liam Miller has signed for QPR.

I always had such high hopes for the lad, but I think he's found his level.

West Ham have accepted a bid from Manchester City for want-away forward, Craig Bellamy. The Welshman exiled himself from Hammers duty at the weekend after being denied a move on Friday, but now looks set to join former manager Mark Hughes

As Manchester City continue to chase down Kaka with ludicrous amounts of money, across town, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson claims that £120 million would not even be enough to buy his own FIFA World Player of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Jay Tabb has signed for Reading from Coventry - definitely an upward move, that.

Has anyone heard if Seamus Coleman signed for Everton from Sligo Rovers?

Robbie Keane not even on the bench for Liverpool today. Is this "rotation" or is he on his way out?

Coleman has completed his move to Everton - will be interesting to see if he ever gets some game time.

Alan Judge has gone on loan to Plymouth, while Man City's Paul Marshall has gone to Blackpool.

Rumours still persist that Willo Flood will be moving to Celtic, and that Shay Given is in talks with Manchester City.

Robbie again left off the bench. Surely he'll be a Spurs player in the next few days?
