Why does Shenhua want him? They already have similar style striker like Zhang Yuning and Xie Hui. What they need is someone like Martinez who has the pace.

Zhang Yuning will never, ever, play again on a regular basis for Shenhua. I have no idea why they didn't just release him or fly him over to Japan. I guess they didn't want another CSL team to have his "talents". Xie Hui is either still injured or lacking fitness, but he doesn't have Jancker's body. Once they come back, Gao Lin and Mao Jianqing can provide the wily, skillful option. They won't have the blistering pace like Martinez, but they will be creative enough. Plus, Jancker is German--like Jorg Albertz. :)

Shanghaiist says $500,000 for one year. That sounds about right.

He's the team's Belgian physio. He joined when Howard Wilkinson "joined" two years ago. He's been a fixture in the staff ever since. You should be able to see him during Shenhua matches. He saved Yu Tao's life during a match two year ago.

I think Shenhua will not get relegated as they are just staring to waste their money~ again~ have you seen the report? use 130,000,000 RMB to buy foreigner players in 6 years?

He's not good enough anymore to even play in Shenhua.

    Thanks.

Are you nuts!? He's appeared four times, three as a substitute, in twelve CSL matches.

Aren't we just trying to be the best Mammonists that we can be?

the guy is a bit washed up, but whatever, he is playing in an inferior league, so hopefully he will find it very easy to score goals.

Aren't all the older foreigners in the CSL pretty washed up? The younger ones also can't play in a top European league. Jancker will do fine.

That's only one part of the story.:)
Shenhua also has made the very most money for a long time. They get nearly
    50,000,000 RMB sponsor this season.

Okay, the goalkeeper basically threw the ball into his own net, but I'll concede, Zhang Yuning scored...

To further discredit your claims about Zhang Yuning, he got a sympathy start because it was his birthday. Plus, Gao Lin and Mao Jianqing were still on international duty.

Look I don't dislike you. I just dislike Zhang Yuning (and Li Weifeng). Also, you should really check out his "goal". After seeing it, you tell me who scored, him or the goalie.
