I heard he still was not cleared to play and was not fit. But that will be interpreted around here as code words for Zidane just does not want him available.
Still too early to say that. But yes, it would be nice to see James fit and playing well heading into 2020 official matches. But as I have been saying for months now Queiroz has been experimenting with a three striker set and I think it may be what he prefers anyway (for better or for worse). Hopefully Diaz-Duvan-Muriel or something like that won't be too bad if James is not reliable..
James is fit and called up for the super cup game's in Saudi Arabia which is on the scale of the season not an important competition at all. Some people will interpret this around here as code that Zidane doesn't want James and only uses him as a backup and they'd be 100% correct

Jame's cross led to the goal but I think because a defender blocked it and Bale made it with a slight deflection they won't count it as an assist.
Look at that he's healthy for the super cup, injured for the league and healthy enough to start in the Copa del Rey vs the minnows. If he's not pushing to leave this month the guy isn't serious about his career anymore.
