Madrid's final preseason game and again, James was left in Madrid.

No idea how reliable that source is, but hopefully its true.

Looks like nobody wants him. Teams are willing to pay hundreds of millions for some players, but Madrid can't sell James for 40 millions. I hope James is embarrassed and grows mentally and stops being a child - or a diva like crzd puts it. He is not the superstar he thinks he is.

The worst part of it, is that he was having respect and love in bayern..........he didnt put effort to stay more time there.........he was just boring about the city and the club........and dont show interest to stay more time...

The Juve rumor is making a last ring of smoke comeback. The latest being a possible swap with Dybala going to Real Madrid.. With some cash going Juve's way to make it more interesting.

Him with Cuadrado building more chemistry and with his buddy Ronaldo? Seems too good to be true...however Juventus won't have complete dominance anymore.

This is really wrong of me to think it and now type it but watching both our Colombians building chemistry as they eat bench together, oh boy. I mean Cuadrado isn't getting younger and James will always be Ronaldo's backup.

I'll shut up now and stop being so negative.

Dybala has much of the same baggage that James is blamed for, albeit he's younger, but he has regressed instead of improving. I don't see how someone who wasn't a straight-out starter at Juve would command so much money. Rather keep Isco/James for that matter.

I have been wishing bad luck for Zidane for a long time and it looks like his worst nightmare - forced to have James on the team - is about to become true. This is not what I had in mind.

James on the roster for La Liga opener tomorrow

Whether he's on the bench or in the stands is another question..

I predict Zidane will have a difficult season and he will try to use James a scapegoat by letting him play under difficult circumstances (I can't give you any details), but surprisingly James plays well and ends up saving Zidane's ass and they become good friends. But in the end Zidane will let him down and James decides to leave Madrid. This is the best possible scenario for James in RMA.

    Not starting. (No surprise.)

Is available on the bench though. And in a game like this he may be needed. There is a good chance he will get playing time if they are down a few goals.

I had a feeling he wouldn't once Modric got red carded.

That said, I'm getting awful feelings watching Vasquez and Isco get the nod over him. I can't sit through another season of that...

With Modric out next week, James has a shot to play. If he doesn't..kiss this season goodbye

I would not say kiss the season goodbye.
I mentioned this before, he would probably start Liga games once the Champions League starts up.

But yes, it is not ideal.

I do hope that James is approaching this better than he has in recent years. His ego has clearly changed him and not in the sense where he's motivated to improve as much as possible like he was before.

He's been nothing but smiles on the bench and whenever he's been spotted. He's making an effort...for now.

It'd be exactly like his last season there. Killing it when he plays, yet subbed at the 60th minute and relegated during any match of importance.

And that's when the ego will kick in...

It does break my heart when we're purposely doing that to insult other people that we don't like for certain reasons. Especially when our own people have insulted our black players. Italians do that too even with their own players (club players) and that irriates me.
