is that official or is it just press talk making assumptions? he's really had an injury prone season going back to the WCup. To think that our star player is constantly picking up these type of serious injury is really troubling. Hope he recovers quickly. Whoever comes on to coach our NT is going to have to figure out how to make the team just as good when James is not around.

I guess press talk though I believe it

KICKER: Bayern have decided not to make James Rodríguez’s loan move from Real Madrid permanent in the summer for which they intend to spend €200m on the squad but not him.

The only sidenote I'll make is that Kovac is off to a poor start even without the likes of James and if the team continues the poor form I don't see how he'll be around this summer. Injuries aside, James has shown that he can mark a difference in the team but with or without Kovac this non signing may come from high up the food chain.

So what would be the outcome, he returns to Scolari's RM? I don't think that'll happen. He's technically be a free agent after summer so he'll have plenty of teams looking for his talents.

Injuries happen, sometimes its just the luck of the draw. In James case he's had ongoing problem with his calf and this time it sounds like it was unrelated.

At this point I am just hoping he is healthy by May and 100 percent healthy in June.

And yet he was dearly missed at the world cup...seriously, I kept being reminded that he was injuried with how bad his replacement was with crosses and generally contributing.

nah Mojica wasnt so bad.actually was regular in almost all the matches....you talked like fabra is good at crossing......dont remember too many goals with his contribution. in nt.....

the effort of mojica in wortld cup was big.....

Actually fabra is still in in debt with nt........more mistakes......than goal participations.

Yeah fabra is better than mojica and others......but not so much.......

We're down to the third string now, but Mojica had a decent WC. Hopefully Borja will do better, next time, but the position is not so critical if we have Quintero, James, Cuadrado and Arias to feed the attack.

Seriously. hopefully he can come back strong in January. It would be nice to see him in decent match fitness by the March friendlies.

From what I saw in person, Deiver/Borja play very conservative/safe as in “I’ll do enough to the point where I can’t mess up” as opposed to “let’s find ways to create opportunities”

And who knows what the timetable is for Mojica...

the same way that zuñiga and arias were in those first matchees.......isnt weird when a full back arrived to a new team even in clubs.....

actually fabra improved when he decided to be conservative with nt......in some important matches he was a disaster.

Agree about Mojica, he was decent - seemed overwhelmed at times but he wasn’t at fault for anything significant that I can recall nor was he integral in any successes that I can specifically remember as well.

The cuadrado-Quintero-james combo is a big ask given how injury prone james has been the last 6+ months.

Hope everything can come together by June.

Mojica was decent and his crosses are great, but he is pretty limited on the ball, he can't really dribble and relies on crossing because he doesn't really have a ton of vision either. He did a good job and worked hard, but Fabra is a big upgrade, Mojica is a much better crosser but past that Fabra links up a lot better and is just a better player overall. There were a few spots in the world cup I remember he was on the ball and he was really out of ideas while he was in space or with a defender closing down, fabra just handles those spots a lot better.
