And goal number 2 thanks to a selfless assist by Morata. 1-4.

James had a good 90 minutes. ALthough he didn't really get to do any fancy playmaking since that role was balanced out pretty well with the other players.

Their 'B' team has probably played their best 3 games of the season.

James starting today with the "A" team.

Big opportunity to really establish himself as a regular with Cr7 and benzema. JBC? Or BJC? ;)

I was about to say there is someone who looks very familiar wearing #10 starting in white today.
Hopefully he scores in his third straight match.

    IT was good.

I don't know if he will start against Atletico though. It may be Isco.

James on the bench unsurprising considering that he's played 3 matches in a row.

Ronaldo hattrick first leg. Real Madrid are likely into the finals by this point. If James doesn't play a full match this weekend he may be rested enough to play next week.

James was MVP of this match. Aside from his double, his playmaking was amazing and full of confidence. I am pretty sure he's extremely pleased.

Well playing 90 minutes will leave him tired but he may be a sub; if they do need him.

Yeah he's almost never starting in the Derby, with them protecting a lead away from home and with Isco not starting and Asensio coming off early, this is Zidane's pattern, and can't say he's gotten it wrong. They are so deep, I have to give Zidane credit for completely switching a team and still having them hungry and understanding their roles. That Madrid B team could probably finish top 4 in all the major leagues in Europe imo.

Well I think the team that Zidane views as B team has the benefit of being fresh and hungry whenever they play. I hate Real but they have a very good deep team right now, and I don't call them a B team because they're bad, but clearly they are not Zidane's first choice. Would love to see Morata and James go somewhere together, Arsenal maybe :).
