Let's not beat around the bush here, the signing of Coutinho has been an utter disaster, heads need to roll for that. Whilst Dembele at least shows promise he also needs to do a hell of a lot better.
Very weak attempt at trolling. I can think of a couple of other teams myself. Stay away from match threads.
Coutinho was lookin real good and scoring some great goals until his injury .... he’s suffering at the hands of an incompetent manager.. poor lad either have been better staying at Liverpool under Klopp
Like who? We of course beat the small teams. My point with Barcelona is the likes of Sevilla and Atlético Madrid go all out on us but essentially lay out the red carpet for you or bottle it in the last minute.
Same excuse, different board member. You're saying nothing that other frustrated Madridistas haven't said before. "Like who?" How about the match officials?
Form for Dembele seems largely a matter of playing him in a position where he can get space to do something. I'd venture to even say that Coutinho would probably benefit from playing exclusively as a Left Winger/Left Midfielder. Didn't watch this game, but it seems that when they switched Dembele in for Vidal (and Coutinho on the left wing) to make a 4-2-3-1 against a tired Sevilla, they started scoring. Dembele threaded in a pass from the right for Messi to tie it up. It seems to be a bit of a contrast to the Lyon game where they used a 4-3-1-2 with sharp balls and shots by everyone, but with little width, which allowed Lyon to just stack the box and have their 2 midfielders disrupt our flow. Dembele was on the left as striker with Suarez, with Messi dropping back as the CAM. Dembele was just as creative, but everything was just closed, and we didn't really cause any trouble after he was subbed out for Coutinho. Sergi Roberto was supposed to open things up on the right, but it was pointed out that he simply didn't. It just seemed like everyone was getting in each others' way and/or hurrying things up.
