I went to a Lebanese restaurant the other night. Learned two things. First, don't go to a Lebanese restaurant if on a date. Had the taste of onions on my tongue all night long. Second, Turkish coffee does not compare to Italian espresso. Did not care for Turkish coffee.

Hakan Suker closed down his Turkish cafe in Palo Alto and is now an Uber driver in DC. He is afraid someone is after him...

I had posted this in the everyone else thread...

This is kind of sad. Hakan Suker is reduced to being an Uber driver. He was living in the San Francisco Bay Area or Palo Alto owning a café but he left because he said "strange people kept coming into the bar".

Some friends of mine brought him to a few MLS games a year ago or so and he didn't think much about it. He would play pick up games at Google Park in Mountain View I believe but then he took off...

You would think someone somewhere would give him a job.

The President of Turkey Erdogan is probably trying to take him out and Suker is a afraid for his life to remain in the game or in the public spotlight.

Hakan Sukur: How former Turkey star ended up in the US as a ...

Because it’s good to do homework on new food so that way you don’t order something that’s not to your tastes and color the whole Cuisine as bad.

The Turks make a Stu that’s pretty much like the meat cooked in ragù all day. One of the best things I ever had.
