I think they are mixed some Tuscan but I believe most of them are Deruta Ceramics from the Province of Perugia in the Umbria.
maybe off/topic but how can Serie A do more to promote the league abroad especially in say the USA/Canada or Mexico? does Serie A even broadcast matches in Africa?
The Rai broadcasts matches in Africa for sure. I'm pretty sure other native language broadcasts are televised all over the world. As far as getting the mainstream behind the Serie A, unfortunately, the rest of the world looks up to the EPL as if they were some type of Gods. Whether they deserve it or not remains to be seen. The English language has a great way of supporting their own league just as the Spanish speakers get behind La Liga , Argentine and Liga MX. Sadly, when those league games are broadcast in English, the commentary is pretty bad. Same goes for Englishmen, Scotsmen or Irishmen try to explain Italian soccer.
What I wonder is if Serie A had a significant following among the Italian diaspora in Canada/USA in recent decades. I think they need to do more to promote the league. Maybe akin to a Neymar-type move to PSG. Though not sure if that boosts Ligue 1's standing or marketability in the world so much as PSG's.
RAI USA televised Serie A games in the late 80's and throughout the mid 90's until Rai International came around. Then they had their own broadcast shows. Some of them were lame with all kinds of people dancing and signing. Now all they have are a few commentators and a former player, I.E. Roberto Rambaudi.
Yeah I don’t watch Bein. I rememberered when Fox Soccer has the games and their English announcers were horrible.
