No way have I ever seen Florenzi as a Vidal type player he doesnt have Vidal's strength or abilities.
That's not to say he can't adequately do what Vidal does for Juventus in a 3-5-2 for Italy. I'm not comparing him with Vidal. I'm saying he can get the job done for Conte in Vidal's POSITION. By the way Vidal is 5'10, 165 lbs. That's no giant. Florenzi is extremely versatile for Roma. He plays all over for Rudi Garcia, gets stuck in, doesn't shy away from tackles just like Vidal, he runs non-stop, and every so often scores a goal. That's Vidal's M.O. at Juventus...a tireless work rate and being a box to box threat that will get in on players on the defensive side. That's all Conte asked Vidal to do at Juventus and is asking out of Florenzi now for Italy. No one is saying Florenzi has to be Vidal. Florenzi has to be Florenzi.
