We were visiting family friends in Rome that spring (we were living that year in England) and I remember that they had the game on the TV when we arrived at their apartment. It was this odd scene of old acquaintances wanting to spend the time catching up with this ongoing disaster continuing in the background... a very odd juxtaposition. Of course I didn't know these people we were visiting (I was only 14), and spent the majority of the time watching the TV....
