I used to chat with an argentine girl on skype... and the first time we did a video call and I heard her talk about something being al otro lado del 'ca-shay' .... i was thinking... "what is cashay??" took me a moment to figure out that they pronounce the double l like 'sh'. so calle sounds like cashay instead of ca-yay... pollo like posho intead of poiyo... llorar like shorar instead of yorar.

Haven't seen this one posted yet. Another nice article that gives some background. https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/sebastian-lletget-finds-comfort-consistency-031926774.html
Straight from the horses mouth in 2015: "Leh/luh-jet" http://www.lagalaxy.com/post/2015/09/03/GargsAndGordoGuideDaBoy (around 48 seconds in) I wonder what happened in the years between the last pronunciation I posted and now?
He said on the MLS podcast a while back that he used to go with the hard G (luh-get), but so many people pronounce it differently, and the soft G (luh-jet) became so common, that he just goes with it now, and either pronounciation is fine with him. He also said, if I remember correctly, that neither way is technically the "correct" way (I could be wrong about this part).
LMAO! Please don't let Gargan go Bruce. At least not until you absolutely, positively have to. Because while he may be merely 'solid' in the defending department, he is clearly our social media MVP. And Gordo and 'Llejay' are his fellow DP's.
