OK, I'm going to go into rant mode for a bit right now: This is the ONLY rational way for supporters groups and teams to operate. The dysfunctional relationship between the Quakes organization and its supporters groups is harmful to both. I don't want to go into archaeologist mode here and I don't think most of us frankly give a flying ******** whom did what to whom when, but our current situation is stupid, harmful, and counterproductive. We have a supporters group that seems as interested in belittling or fighting other Quakes supporters as it does in supporting the team, and a team management that has had a generally confrontational, negative relationship with the group and has focused more on working against them and punishing them for various things, real and imagined than it has on helping them build a proper stadium atmosphere. I just came back from a trip to Madison, and on my flight were three members of the all-embracing group comprised of the various Forward Madison FC groups (The Flock, La Barra 608, and Forward Union) for the playoff game at Frisco against North Texas (aka FC Dallas 2). There has been NO dissension or infighting between these groups. Rather, they work together to create a game atmosphere, walking into the stadium together, onto the field, and into the endzone, where they build an atmosphere that is unheard of at a USL1 team, and would not at all be out of place in MLS. Not only are these groups working together to support the team, but they've collectively raised thousands for various charities, held food drives, and generally been a very positive influence in Madison, and they work hand in hand with the team, instead of obsessing about a variety of slights and scores to settle. <Click> Rant mode off I know I'm going to get slammed over this, but I don't care. Everybody involved needs to grow up.
Hey all. Taken a break from this thread because of all the harassment from the Ultras, and the doxing. Was a little concerned for my safety. Now I'm back to answer your questions about the work that the CAA, FL and Casbah are doing together.
There's an active thread on the Earthquakes subreddit on this topic, a discussion that hits many points already discussed here, mostly focused on the Ultras' hostility. Strong supporters groups would be a huge asset to game atmosphere. However, the only CAA that comes to mind is California Auto Association.
Wow you got doxxed? I'll fix whomever back for you. Also The Ultras and their 4 songs are within the relm of bottom 3 supporters groups with Dallas and Colorado
I have been following Coleman Ave on Instagram. Great energy! But I am not a young Latino and that's who I see in that group.
Screenshot of proof? Other wise can't validate this type of claim. Claiming someone doxxed you is bad if not true. I also have some friends in the Ultras. Not all of them are cu*ts. But SJ has a bunch of shitty support groups, with all of them being a shell of what the Casbah was.
