i'm probably moving to tel aviv soon and will be at every single freaking game. not sure who to support tho, hapoel or maccabi :p I support Beitar before since a family member used to play for them but i want to see a local team. its a shame hapoel had a great team this year but they are selling everyone!

    News from the Netherlands

It seems that Israeli-Dutch left back Samuel Scheimann has signed for Eridivisie club Excelsior, having played the last three seasons for Den Bosch in the Dutch second division. Although he has never played for Israel at any level, he could be a handy player...

Also, I believe goalkeeper Ohad Levita is now a free agent, having led Waalwijk to promotion to the Eridivisie last season so it will be interesting to see where he ends up. He may re-sign with Waalwijk...

What a way to score your first goal in the Serie A. Less than 20 seconds after making his first start for Palermo in the league:

maybe a bit harsh for a straight red and suspended for 2 matches? it looks like a push and the guy dived

anyway shechter is doing well for kaiserslautern. started the season well but has been a substitute lately. i hope they give vermouth more of a go because he is quality. if not, he should go on loan to a team maybe in the german second division or elsewhere in europe.

Good to hear about Aviram, because Polonia really needs a top player.
Everyone is looking in Poland for there own Melikson. By now, no one found one :)
Ohayon in Legia from Ashdod, Suppose to be better then Melikson but totally missfired. Few weak games and he is off from Warsaw.
Shriki in Górnik from Ashdod, went back on loan to Ashdod. He could not make the match 18.
Cohen in Podbeskidzie from Bnei Sakhin. Just as the other players in Podbeskidzie ... nothing special.
Kahlon in Cracovia from Royal Charleroi. Suppose to be very good, but did not make eny effort.

to be fair, ohayon was not given many opportunities at legia. shriki should have played more at gornik but i heard the coach didnt want to use him..

cahalon is a good player and did well in belgium, maybe he didnt settle in cracovia. baruchyan was a very good player a few years ago so maybe he will do well at polonia.

Ohayon played very weak at his apperences. No speed no stamina, poor technical skills. He looked like he havent played for a year!
About Shriki, he havent played in the first team, because he looked very poor at the youth team were he started, and he felt very bad in Poland. So he went back on loan to Ashdod. Górnik fans was very dissapointed about that.
About Kahlon, he will have his chanses in second round, to settle better in team.

Gil Vermouth played 86 minutes yesterday in Kaiserslautern's 5-1 friendly loss to Gent, who Vermouth played for a few years ago. Gil scored Lautern's only goal and hopefully this will mean that he gets more playing time in the second half of the season. Otherwise, he will have to look at being loaned out to another team in Europe.

Tomer Hemed scored last night against Real Madrid. This was his first goal in open play in La Liga. He now has six league goals, having scoring two goals in the Spanish Cup midweek as well. Hemed played 70 minutes, while Dudu Aouate was in goals for Mallorca, however they could not hold on and eventually lost 2-1.

Eden Ben Basat continued his fine form for Brest in France. He scored the only goal of the game against Nice in the 6th minute for his third of the season. Ben Basat had several other good chances but the Nice goalkeeper produced some excellent saves.

Gai Assulin scored last night for Manchester City against United in their 4-2 Manchester Senior Cup tie. Assulin came on as a sub at half-time and scored the 2-2 equaliser (65th minute). He also assisted the fourth goal (90th minute). Hopefully, he can continue this positive sign: his first goal at any level for City. Incidentially, United had Kuszczak in goals while City had promising youngsters like Karim Rekik, Denis Suarez, Juan Angel Roman, Harry Bunn and Luca Scapuzzi in the team. I wonder if Assulin will look to make a loan move (if there is a loan window??) or whether he might get some first-team play at City in the Europa League or cup competitions..

Well Nir Mantzur (played in the youth academy of Real Madrid and Beitar Jerusalem) is now trying to impress Belgian team Germinal Beerschot. He earlier unsuccessfully trialled at Leicester City and PSV Eindhoven.
