There is talk that there may be a smaller attendance as a result of today's shooting in Jerusalem. The match will be broadcasted in the US on ESPN3.
You haven't posted in the Israel forum in a long time. http://www.espn.com/watchespn/index#type/upcoming/ lists the game as only being available in Spanish, which is better than nothing. Israel should be able to beat Liechtenstein at home in a full stadium, at home in an empty stadium, or in Liechtenstein. Israel won't qualify, but I still want Israel to improve their FIFA Ranking to get an easier draw for next time. After today, Israel's next two games are at Albania in November and at Spain in March.
ESPN3 had the game in English and Spanish. I just watched the end of Israel's 2:1 win. Israel dominated many of the statistics, with 66 percent of the possession, a higher pass completion percentage (90 to 75), 72 percent of the completed passes, more shots (21 to 5), more free kicks (21 to 10), more corner kicks (8 to 2), fewer fouls (19 to 10), and fewer yellow cards (2 to 0). Shots on goal were closer, with Israel having 5 to Liechtenstein's 4. There were 3 saves each. Nobody was ejected. Tomer Hemed scored in the 4th and 16th minutes, but Israel didn't score after that. Maximilian Goppel scored Liechtenstein's goal in the 49th minute. The other two games in the group start in about 47 minutes.
The performance was lacking, especially in the defense. You can see where Israel has not produced enough quality. No central defenders who really control the line both physically and verbally. Dasa is not good enough for the international game.
