I like everything about that. Happy 19th birthday to Izzy. This club is really growing on me. He might be playing in MLS with them before he's old enough to drink (legally).

 

I wonder if he'll convert to playing for the US, now.

 

I was wondering the same thing. Could he be part of the upcoming U-20 squad? Is he good enough?

Izzy seems to be either on trial with, or signed to, Breidablik in Iceland's top division -- not sure which. A couple of weeks ago, it was a trial.

Good move. The 2nd division of spain is no 'bottom feeder'. Good quality of play, great developmental paltform.

Did he have any appearances for Sac, or was he he highly regarded in Iceland? This whole thing seems strange, he's been at so many clubs now.

 

Only one appearance in the USL, but he joined a good team late in the season. That might or might not have been the reason, of course. He doesn't have many first-team matches under his belt, but remember he doesn't turn 21 until August. None of this screams "prodigy," but it certainly doesn't preclude a productive pro career.

I know. I saw it on his Instagram page.

 

His Twitter profile says he's with FK Javor in Serbia's first division. So do a bunch of database sites.

 

So do Javor's first two games of the Serbian SuperLiga season, as Tandir has come on as a sub in both of them.

 

Has played 31 minutes in 4 substitute appearances as the Serbian league heads into winter break.
