For does who are interested the Islanders will have three pre-season games in Orlando, against U of South Florida, Panama City PDL team, and the USA sub-17 team. This game will be played on the 7, 10 and 13 of this month. Ill have to confirm where.

Odd that teams from Tampa, the Panhandle and Bradenton would all travel to Orlando to play a Puerto Rico team. But it is Orlando...

Orlando is the new New York, Puerto Ricans are flooding the city, so maybe thats why PR decided it would be a good idea to have pre-season there. Plus its also separates the team form any mayor distraction that the wouls have in PR. Stuff like that from what i have heard PR is heading strate from Orlando to Portland for the season opener, maybe get there a couple of days early so the boys can aclamated better, who knows.

    To which you said:

So, any idea what the attendance was at any of these matches? I mean if the reason they came to Orlando was because of the influx of Puerto Ricans.

The game against Panama City on the 13th is in Panama City not Orlando. Would not be surprised if the game against the USA 17s if it is played tomorrow will end up in Bradenton since the USA 17s do not do a lot of travelling.

I go to UCF, and didn't even hear about the Islanders playing us till today.....almost 2 weeks later. I'm pretty pissed, but ahh well (definitely need some more footy friends here in Central Florida, LoL)

Anyhoo, what were the results of that match. Our website doesn't even list it
