Re: Is their a chance that spurs will get relegated? I think they will improve. A top six or seven finish is still not beyond them. But it's only a few games into the season. If by November or December they are still in the drop zone then I'd think it's time to worry.

Why does this logic apply to the team at the bottom of the table, with two points from six games, but not to the reigning English and European Champions, who have four times as many points from a game less?

Re: Is their a chance that spurs will get relegated? Well on October 28th last year, we were third from bottom, on 7pts from 11 games and we finished mid table and with a cup win. Secondly (and partly due to the way ENIC run the the club) we're slow starters in recent years. Thirdly, if we lose to Hull, Stoke and Bolton, then it's quite obvious it's panic time, whereas victories is what we should really be aiming for, and if we get that, then we'll see how we fair against the two big guns afterwards. People are falling over themselves to panic but I don't see what it achieves.

That's ridiculous, you are acting like they have players similar in quality to those at Derby last season, Spurs's players are a million times better and they are lacking confidence and are lacking the grit and passion right now. They will do very well in the UEFA Cup because that's all about flair and nice football, the Premiership isn't and you won't get anywhere if you can't break a mans legs. I would put my house and everything I own on Spurs not going down. I would put my house on them finishing top half.
