Is Montolivo world class? No. End of discussion.

And remember when people thought Balotelli was world class. He was given two starts for Liverpool and played like absolute garbage. I guess he can now enter the Antonio Cassano mid-table Serie A phase of his career.

Of course Milan has been a disappointment as well this year, so there is no silver lining for me. Hopefully Conte has enough moxy to start Insigne, Gabbs, and Berardi together when the next international go around comes along. Not much else to get excited about (other than living vicariously through my father's enthusiasm for Napoli).

 

Darmian also continues to be the best in his position, if Barca and Real are interested in him, is on his way to become world class

I agree. He was the best player for the Azzurri in their last international match, and was superb against Juve. He's completely stolen De Sciglio's thunder when it comes to young Italians at fullback.

 

Ya but he's a few years older than De Scig, give him another season or 2, he's still getting back from injury and form

 

Damian played well Sunday but his goal was total bullshit. He lost control of it and it bounced away. He did good to follow through and make something out of it but it was not by design.
