    Part of the problem for him was the fact that in England he was forced to contribute defensively, something he at the time wasn't exactly prolific at.

    That's part of what I consider mismanaged. He wasn't used correctly, and neither were a lot of the other players at the club. That's why Fulham was relegated.

    I'd attribute their relegation more to the fact that they changed coaches after the transfer window was closed. But yes, you're right: things had been bad (well) before.

    He did do pretty poor at Fulham. Had hoped things might turn around. 8 goals in 68 matches :oops:
    Positive is he might get a chance to leave since Olympiakos and Besiktas was rumored to make offers for him.
