I thought it was just going to be some kupus bullshit when I started watching, but:


I have kept my mouth shut about Spahic since I thought he was good in the friendlies and against Argentina. I thought that maybe the rest of the team really likes him as captain and alot of stuff in his behaviour suggested that he might have matured as a human being. But after watching that video I'm getting more and more convinced that he's still the guy that scared the shit out of a kid I know after he found him in their hotel a few years ago (Kid had the right to be there in this case). Players should focus on football, not be allowed to boss around outside of the pitch.

I also agree that Pape seems like a really good guy, "raja" as my dad put it. But we need a leader that can mold the team into an example of professionalism, since many of our players deserve it. If some aren't happy with it as the video suggests, they should STFU and be humbled by the honor of playing for the NT. Giving joy to a suffering and football loving people is probably the most important thing they will be able to do in their lives. Asking them to ditch all other bullshit for the short amounts of time they spend with the NT is not too much to ask.

I think it's a problem that a few of our players have, not just Spahic. It's maybe something with the mentality of certain players. They feel that being a "captain" is some kind of authority figure that puts him above all the other players. It's not good! I think we are a team that should not have a captain at all. Not at this point in time.

If the armband should be given to someone, than it should be someone who is far more composed and more professional. It should be given to Begovic or Pjanic. They are the only two options at this point.

Also, most of the Bosnian media is just BS. They are clueless about football and the sport. Even face tv is horrible imo. Some questions they ask in the player interviews are a joke and totally expose their stupidity and lack of professionalism.
