There is dignity in being humble in victory. I do feel for Iran's team, their players, and their normal fans. Their coach did definitely raise them above their level and I though Iran performed above some expectations. Despite their lack of individual talents they did well as a team. They probably gave it their hardest in the preparations leading to the World Cup and they played their hearts out. I respect that! All three games it looked like they gave it their best and pushed themselves to the limit.
Their players were pretty motivated and disciplined. They are a slightly older team so to a lot of their players this might be the end of their NT careers. It was probably a very emotional moment for some of them. Not achieving a victory at the world cup made it rough. I don't feel they deserved to advance, but it's still sad seeing devoted players heartbroken like this. Respect!

 

Incredible stats for Besic. I honestly want to see him back in the Bundesliga or La Liga.

 

La Liga wouldn't suit him imo. He would get to many yellow, or perhaps even red, cards because of his aggressive style of play and the reputation that the league has of referees that blow many soft fouls. He and Ramos would probably compete against each other in who managed to get the most cards before the season ends

I'd like to see him in Serie A the most. A league that's known for being tactical and defensive would be perfect for him

 

I think he can succeed anywhere (he would have to adjust for La Liga) but Serie A would be the most ideal.
