Inverted Fullback thoughts

    Well, the famed cross-field pass breaks that pressure. Which, of course, we've rarely seen, probably because Berhalter only wants the 6 to make that pass. The player in the 6 can't be the only one responsible for or expected to make the cross field pass. But that cross field pass needs to happen. If it does, then the rest of Berhalter's system might actually function.

    At the very least, Cannon had a very good Gold Cup--an unexpected one, for sure. He was really good, and showed he's got chops. Whether that translates to some high-end European career is another thing.
