Because Thompson and Ceballos are out. And because it's "technically" a slower team so he may actually be able to touch the ball this time. But I konw that EVERYONE agrees he's garbage.
It would be an embarrassment not to put 5-6 goals past them. But it will be just as bad of an embarrassment to continue to play like shit.
I think not. But in any case, I don't mean to disrespect the opponent, I'm saying that Guate can and should go for a flattering result to restore some of the prestige, if there is any left.
This will not be an easy match for Guatemala, it will be played on a cricket pitch which the Guyanese players are used to. I would still expect Guatemala to be the better side, but I definitely would not expect a big victory.
I agree "Theworm" i dont think it would be a whooping either but def. Guate will have dominion of the ball def. we'll win by 2 or 3 goals.
Yes Guyana is considered a weaker team, but they DID beat T&T to make it to the next round. These guys aren't chumps and aren't afraid of us. We haven't done had many "hig scoring" games with Almeida so dont expect a huge blow out. I'll be surprised if we get 2 goals in.
The game is about to start, field is wet, but no puddles from what I see. Game will be about ball control, and smooth passing.
Gotta have Windows Media Player as your default stream player. Not missing much so far. The ref is definitely leaning more towards Guyana. The field is slick, some puddles. Not alot of good ball control for Guate, but we've had most of the possesion. Plays are coming from the right side from Jonathan Lopez crosses. Some light build up in passes from the left side. About 3 shots on goal from Guate. Guyana hasn't had the ball much but when they have they've been able to put together some good passing for a smart attack. Our back line is just kind of going throughthe motions. They're playing pretty lax, both Yony and Cabrera have had a couple of dumbsh*t plays already.
He's doing good. The field on that side is a bit rough so it hasn't made for good footing. He's passing the ball off to Campollo, trying to setup some good opportunities so he's not really doing much shooting. Some good chemistry between them. The opportunities up front are coming getting better so he might get some more opportunities to shoot.
