Nike Authentics are the equivalent of Formotion.

Nothing on the market compares to Techfits...not even UA.

Am I hearing you say that UA is awesome?

I have a Nike baselayer coming my way. Considering my good experiences with Nike jerseys, I'm eager to find out how I like it.

No you heard me wrong. I said nothing on the market is equivalent to Techfits. UnderArmour is an inferior material. It rips and loses shape over time. It's also very thin and slight for a playing jersey. UA is more of an undershirt than a playing shirt.

Look at the name, look at the post, look at the links. One of those spammers has somehow managed to creep in - I've just reported it to the mods.

Hey everyone, quick question. Egypt has for years been sponsored by Puma, and currently has a jersey out for the 2012-2013 year, which was already posted in this thread:[IMG]

Recently, there was an Outside the Lines article on ESPN.com chronicling Bob Bradley and his time and journey thus far in Egypt. In it, there are multiple pictures of Bradley and the coaching staff wearing Adidas sponsored Egypt apparel, and even a picture of the team outfitted in Adidas Egypt jerseys:

I tried a quick google search trying to find an announcement about Adidas and the Egyptian NT but instead found plenty of results going directly to Egypt being unable to carry out a boycott on Adidas as was the desire of some minister in Saudi Arabia or something along those lines.

Anyone have any information about this, and whether the Pharaohs are still in fact with Puma or instead now with Adidas?

Here's a picture from the African WCQ match between Egypt and Mozambique in an empty stadium in Egypt. Once again, the entire team is outfitted in Adidas and NOT Puma.

If anyone has any knowledge on the situation, it'd be much appreciated.

After emailing around, it turns out that Puma was the one who was responsible for terminating their contract with Egypt. According to this article, Puma may not have been comfortable with all of the political upheaval and violence occurring in the African nation, especially after the riot in Port Said that involved maybe the most recognizable Egyptian side in Al-Ahly. Because of the short turn around, Egypt was left scrambling to find a sponsor, and immediately went into talks with Adidas. As it is presently, the Egyptians are being outfitted by generic Adidas kits as African WCQ continues, but should soon have their own individual kit available to them.

This is quite a shame, as Puma had essentially a monopoly on prominent African teams and had arguably the most visible one in Egypt for quite some time. If they did in fact cancel their contract when it still had 2 years remaining until 2014, it is very sad. Egypt was put into a very tough position because their kit sponsor did not want to be associated with the dealings in that country rather than stand by their NT and hope they could act as a glimmer of hope for the Egyptian people.

And sorry for the double post, according to the new layout an EDIT is no longer allowed after 20 minutes of the original post.

I would assume that if Eqypt makes the WC, Puma will sign a new deal with them.

Yes, its the same as Addidas. Buy one size larger.
Also, I've had the question in the back of my mind for a while, so I figured I'll ask it now. Why doesn't Nike put commemorative match patches on there jerseys like Addidas and Puma do? An example would be the Euro 2012.
