Oh, bummer... Thailand went in this tourney with Team B - no Boonsing, Sritala, Phancha, Sornsai, Nidhamrong and Kanjana Sung-ngoen....while in Portugal only Neto was missing. Lookin' on my earlier predictions I'm startin to think about....fishing rod. Yes, fishing ought to be good idea

Enjoy these superpowered goalie's gloves (Not even joking, T&T's GK Baron has as much fight as anyone in that tournament. She blocked most of what the U.S. threw at her)
Italy v Sweden - the away team probably should've scored at least once. Predictor's curse, I suppose Week 5-6 Actual scores Thu. USA 6 - 0 Mexico Fri. Netherlands 4 - 1 Denmark (agg.) Fri. Week 7 October 17 (first leg only) Wolfsburg - Atlético Madrid Linköping - Paris Saint-Germain Chelsea - Fiorentina Lillestrøm - Brøndby Head-to-heads: Atlético were well beaten 12-2 at Wolfsburg in 2017, but it should be closer this time. Norwegian champions Lillestrøm played last year against Brøndby to 0-0 and 3-1 results. No previous meetings for Linköping-PSG or Chelsea-Fiorentina! After this are the 2nd legs (Oct 31), then the November internationals, and finally the AWCON in November and we're done
Wolfsburg - Atlético Madrid 2-0 Linköping - Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 Chelsea - Fiorentina 2-0 Lillestrøm - Brøndby 2-2
Let's say: Wolfsburg 3 Atlético Madrid 1 Linköping 1 Paris Saint-Germain 2 Chelsea 3 Fiorentina 0 Lillestrøm 1 Brøndby 0
Wolfsburg 2 - 0 Atlético Madrid Linköping 1 - 1 Paris Saint-Germain Chelsea 2 - 1 Fiorentina Lillestrøm 1 - 0 Brøndby
So, that means: Week 7, UWCL first leg "Actual" scores, in "reality" Wolfsburg 4 - 0 Atlético Madrid Linköping 0 - 2 Paris Saint-Germain Chelsea 1 - 0 Fiorentina Lillestrøm 1 - 1 Brøndby SCORES AND POINTS IN WEEK 7 (Move your mouse to reveal the content) SCORES AND POINTS IN WEEK 7 (open) SCORES AND POINTS IN WEEK 7 (close) shlj Wolfsburg - Atlético Madrid 2-0 = 2pts Linköping - Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 = 0 Chelsea - Fiorentina 2-0 = 2pts Lillestrøm - Brøndby 2-2 = 2pts blissett Wolfsburg 3 Atlético Madrid 1 = 1pt Linköping 1 Paris Saint-Germain 2 = 2pts Chelsea 3 Fiorentina 0 = 2pts Lillestrøm 1 Brøndby 0 = 1pt Lechus Wolfsburg 2 - 0 Atlético Madrid = 2pts Linköping 1 - 1 Paris Saint-Germain = 0 Chelsea 2 - 1 Fiorentina = 2pts Lillestrøm 1 - 0 Brøndby = 1pt shlj and blissett both got 6pts each, Lechus got 5pts Overall totals: blissett 44, shlj 41, Lechus 30 Maybe the 2nd-leg games will make the difference?
Week 8 October 31 - November 1 (second leg only) Fiorentina - Chelsea Bayern Munich - FC Zurich Brøndby - Lillestrøm Slavia Prague - Rosengård Fiorentina trail 1-0 to Chelsea, who've had a poor season so far. In Switzerland, Bayern Munich got an easy 2-0 win at Zurich, but found it hard to get many goals. The Norwegian champs Lillestrøm only drew 1-1 at home. They'll hope to repeat their away win last year, when they beat Brøndby 3-1 in Denmark. But a 0-0 would be enough for Brøndby to progress. Slavia Prague are surprisingly leading 3-2 against Rosengård. The Slavia lineup had only one foreign player, Canadian defender Kylla Sjoman, when they won in Sweden. American Morgan Proffitt is also in their squad. Rosengård are fresh from being Loozerrs in the Swedish league final weekend, while Slavia won yesterday 16-0 at Hradec Králové, so make of that what you will.
Fiorentina 1 Chelsea 0 (in this case have I to also predict the penalty shootout's outcome?) Bayern Munich 4 FC Zurich 0 Brøndby 0 Lillestrøm 2 Slavia Prague 2 Rosengård 0
Nah, only for fun. My hunch is that the penalties will be 14-13. An away-goals win wouldn't count this week (just the score on the night), but the usual rules if it goes to Extra Time:
Ok, my 1-0 score prediction does include extra-time, for that matter. And I guess Chelsea in the end manage to make it, but only after a thrilling PSO.
Fiorentina 2 - 1 Chelsea Bayern Munich 3 - 0 FC Zurich Brøndby 1 - 0 Lillestrøm Slavia Prague 2 - 1 Rosengård
Fiorentina - Chelsea 0-0 Bayern Munich - FC Zurich 3-1 Brøndby - Lillestrøm 2-1 Slavia Prague - Rosengård 0-1

Week 9 November 9-13 Fri. Netherlands - Switzerland (agg.) Sat. Germany - Italy Sat. France - Brazil Sun. Japan - Norway The last European place in the World Cup will be decided in a 2-leg NED v SUI game on Friday and Tuesday. Like before, choose the aggregate score in that one.
Fri. Netherlands 2 - 2 Switzerland (agg.) Sat. Germany 4 - 0 Italy Sat. France 1 - 1 Brazil Sun. Japan 3 - 0 Norway
I wonder why everybody thinks Norway is going to get blown out? Their defense has been proven to be their strongest part of their game. Japan still has those surprise, long balls which it patiently unleashes with deadly accuracy to it's runners upfront, don't have the Ogimi-in-her-prime finishers anymore as Iwabuchi & Yokoyama were rather disappointing at TON. ELS slight injury might be a blessing in disguise, as now France needs to prove/or at least work on having a bit more firepower on her team instead of just one to depend on Netherlands 3, Switzerland 2 Germany 2, Italy 1 France 1, Brazil 1 Japan 1, Norway 1
