(JPN) – Nojima - INAC Kobe 2-2 = 2pts There's still the one Liga MX game to come in week 2. But for the coming weekend, here's the fixture list - including 2 matches in the COSAFA Championship in South Africa. Week 3 September 15-16 Sat. (COSAFA) – Namibia - Uganda Sat. (COSAFA) – Zambia - Cameroon Sun. (GER) – Wolfsburg - Frankfurt Sun. (NED) – ADO Den Haag - Ajax Hey @toad455, can you please tell us who's going to win Namibia v Uganda? It would be good to know. Namibia are 20 places above Uganda in FIFA rankings, but Namibia's missing some foreign-based players for the tourney. Uganda beat Kenya and Ethiopia at the recent CECAFA cup, finishing 2nd of 5 teams. (Can't find any previous meetings of these two teams.) Zambia and Cameroon are better known, and both are chasing the Cup of Nations in November. Cameroon's ranked 60 places higher, 48th in the world. Zambia's backroom unrest may also play a role - but both teams are in action in separate games on Thursday. Their last meeting was 0-0 in 2014. Frankfurt were a force to be reckoned with a few years ago, but less so in 2017/18, when they finished 6th in the Bundesliga. Champs Wolfsburg are the hosts in the first game of 2018/19, beating Frankfurt 1-0 and 2-0 last season. The Dutch champions Ajax travel to ADO Den Haag, who were 6th in the Eredivisie in 2017/18. Ajax won a cup match 2-0 there in April, but the teams drew both league games. - https://ie.soccerway.com/matches/20...isie/ado-den-haag/afc-ajax/2814300/head2head/
I was so close to perfectly predicting the score from PSG-Paris FC, even if it was a so unusual one (at least in most leagues)! CanI suggest an improvement? when you post the points made by each of us, could you also write down the scores of the singles meatches? I'll admit I don't always follow all of the leagues around the word, so I'd have to check to know the exact score of some matches (unless some predictor perfectly nailed it! ).

Harder and harder! I actually have no clue about African women's football (nor African men's football, for that matter). Anyway, my predictions are: Namibia 0 Uganda 2 Zambia 1 Cameroon 4 Wolfsburg 3 Frankfurt 0 ADO Den Haag 1 Ajax 2
Namibia 1 Uganda 1 Zambia 1 Cameroon 3 Wolfsburg 3 Frankfurt 1 ADO Den Haag 1 Ajax 2 PURE GUESSING - Haven't a clue
Week 2 final scores - blissett 8, shlj 5, Lechus 2 Guadalajara v Tigres sounds like it was the craziest game of the year - terrible weather and four red cards! Tigres got the away win, 3-1. They haven't uploaded official highlights, maybe because of the violent conduct. I'll try to piece it together in the Liga MX thread later. Thanks for inserting actual scores, according to my suggestion, and for your tremendous effort running this thread and gathering info from all women's football related news around the world!

Week 4
September 26 (Wed.) Barcelona - BIIK-Kazygurt Brøndby - Juventus Manchester City - Atlético Madrid Bayern Munich - Spartak Subotica BIIK are leading Barcelona 3-1 from their home leg in Kazakhstan. Can Barça turn it around? The 3-1 was possibly assisted by tainted food, but we'll never know for sure. The Catalan team won 5-2 on aggregate against BIIK in 2015. Denmark's Brøndby are record-breakers: this is their 15th UEFA/CL knockout round. They took a 2-2 draw away at Juventus, a team that's only a year old. Man City and Atlético Madrid drew 1-1 in Spain, apparently(?) their first meeting. The Spanish champions Atlético got a late equalizer at home. City made the 2017/18 semi-finals and lost to Lyon, while Atlético fell in round 1. Bayern Munich are already 7-0 up over Serbia's Subotica, who got here by winning a qualifying group with the Swiss team Basel. Spartak will take heart from their Champions League 0-0 with Wolfsburg a few years ago. But realistically, this match might invoke the 6-goals-or-more rule, and that's why it's interesting. This was the report from the 1st-leg games - https://web.archive.org/web/2018092...omenschampionsleague/news/newsid=2570232.html And the 'thrashings' rule again in full:
Barcelona 2 - 1 BIIK-Kazygurt Brøndby 0 - 1 Juventus Manchester City 2 - 0 Atlético Madrid Bayern Munich 5 - 1 Spartak Subotica
Barcelona - BIIK-Kazygurt 3-0 Brøndby - Juventus 0-0 Manchester City - Atlético Madrid 0-1 Bayern Munich - Spartak Subotica 4-0
Well, I am somehow making up for my total fail in predicting NWSL play-offs so far. My new predictions: Barcelona 5 BIIK-Kazygurt 0 Brøndby 1 Juventus 2 Manchester City 1 Atlético Madrid 0 Bayern Munich 2 Spartak Subotica 0 (my "odd" prediction: I noticed in the past that often, when the first leg has been a bashing, the winner team takes it very easy in second leg and/or fields 2nd string players and/or lives it as a trainings session and prefers to "rest" for the league games).

The UEFA qualifiers will be played as 2 legs, on Friday and Tuesday – please guess the aggregate score at the end of the 2nd leg. October 4-6 Thu. USA - Mexico Fri. Netherlands - Denmark (agg.) Fri. Belgium - Switzerland (agg.) Fri. France - Australia Sat. England - Brazil The last US-Mexico matchups ended 4-1 and 6-2 for the home team, though Mexico briefly led 2-1. Netherlands have won all of their recent meetings with Denmark, including the Euro 2017 final, but it's usually close-fought. Switzerland are ranked above Belgium – the teams drew 2-2 in Cyprus 2017. Can the Belgian strikeforce of Cayman and Wullaert make the difference? For the other friendlies, there are surprisingly few previous meetings for France-Australia and none(?) for England-Brazil. But I'm sure you're familiar with them.
Thu USA - Mexico 4-0 Fri. Netherlands - Denmark (agg.) 5-4 Fri. Belgium - Switzerland (agg.) 2-4 Fri. France - Australia 1-1 Sat. England - Brazil 1-2
Thu. USA - Mexico 4-1 Fri. Netherlands - Denmark (agg.) 2-3 Fri. Belgium - Switzerland (agg.) 2-2 (Belgium) Fri. France - Australia 1-1 Sat. England - Brazil 0-2
I should mention, you can say a draw on aggregate, you don't need to name a winner. This would apply in the 2nd leg: Oooooh that Denmark score...
USA 2 Mexico 1 Netherlands 3 Denmark 2 (agg.) Belgium 2 Switzerland 2 (agg.) France 2 Australia 2 England 3 Brazil 1
I'll put these here now, so you can decide by Tuesday: 3 friendlies, 2 CONCACAF group games. Week 6 October 9-11 Tue. England - Australia Tue. France - Cameroon Tue. Italy - Sweden Wed. USA - Trinidad & Tobago Thu. Costa Rica - Canada France-Cameroon looks like a mismatch, apparently(?) their first meeting. Sweden remain 8 ranking places above Italy, but Italy won 3-2 in the Euro 2017 tournament after several defeats to Sweden. The last USA-Trinidad game was 5-0 in the 2016 Olympic qualifiers. Canada have won their last 3 games against Costa Rica, following a defeat at the PanAm Games in 2015.
My Week 5 addition: 2nd matchday of Yongchuan International Tournament in China (6th Oct) Thailand - Portugal Finland - China Thailand - Portugal that's their first meeting. Both teams are close in rankings (28) and (31). Thailand had good first half of the year - almost eliminating Australia in semi-final of AFC Cup in April and then winning AFF Championship in July. However following month in Asian Games they had lost all three games - with Japan, Vietnam and China. Portugal had excelent beginig of the year with their best to date performance and finish (3rd) at Algarve Cup. Unforunatelly that didn't help much later on with their WWC quaifiers campaign. They finished 3rd in thier group behind Italy and Belgium. During last decade Finland - China played 5 times with eachother (3-1-1 for China), last time in June 2017 China won 4-2 in a friendly. Under their new coach China has reach Asian Games final which they very unlucky lost 0-1 with Japan. Finland is undergoing generational change as well as major team rebuilding under new coach. Anna Signeul (former Scotland manager). Out of 10 games in this year they won only 2 matches also finishing 3rd behind Spain and Austria in WWC qual. Thailand 2 - 1 Portugal Finland 1 - 3 China
