relax. it's 1 game. I thought we looked solid. but it's one game. no need to get negative or too positive.

We got (hopefully) 4 years of this to go, lol.

Also how we didn't get destroyed on counters despite playing a high tempo game

He thinks Lee Jae Sung could be a leading defensive mid-fielder in top level of Bundesliga. I wouldn't take everything he says seriously.

Oh good, I thought I was hearing things. Guess Bae Sung Jae was having an off day today. at the half he also said Lee Jae Sung's PK goal.

Can yall cut it out with these patronizing "RELAX EVERYBODY" posts? No one is calling Bento a genius. We've just had extremely low standards for so long that some of us are just glad to see some basic shit being done. That's it. Let's be happy about a decent, well balanced performance.

Personally I'd take NTH over MSM any day of the week. Lovely change of pace and stepover to get past the two defenders. He's always been one of the most technical players in the selection pool, is still 27, and when in form will be useful as a bench player at least.

It's one game tho. I'm talking to both sides who are being negative and being too positive. It's 1 useless friendly. We still got 4 years of this.

Seriously, just having someone who is knowledgable enough to play a balanced 4231 in attack and an organised 442 in defense is a blessing when we played a 7-2-1 under STY against mfking sweden just a couple months ago LOL

The game itself doesn't matter. What we should be happy about is that the team has clearly been working on a few things, and that they seem to be moving in the right direction tactically. Just basic stuff. It's like being happy that your problem kid started doing his homework and taking out the trash.

Keeping Kim Shin-wook on for 70 minutes straight with no end results - FAIL (It's even more sad considering he was the tallest player on the pitch, yet couldn't even win balls nor draw in defenders, or even break through the Swedish defense with his height, which resulted in flopping all afternoon.)
Using Son and Hwang Hee-chan as wingbacks vs a defensive Swedish side - FAIL

Even if we end up losing to Chile, as long as we play like we did tonight, I'll be satisfied. But, of course I want us to win though.

We were without Cho Hyun-woo and Hwang Hee-chan, pretty even if you ask me :).

Good start and I finally like how we are FINALLY organized.

In bentos system we need to rely on individual brilliance to win matches. Finesse type players leading the attack

It's of course a friendly, however Costa Rica is still a WC team fwiw.

Biggest thing i take from today is it's refreshing to see Bento and his staff give mins to a good rotation of players today.

Something simple and obvious (and what friendlies are for) that Shite Lee-Kee was allergic to. He talked a lot of players up, called them up and would never even use them.

Some real and measured momentum now. Something we have not had in a very long time.

Would really like to see SHM rested more. And Desert Rot? Apply Bento Cream!!!
