Personally I'd take NTH over MSM any day of the week. Lovely change of pace and stepover to get past the two defenders. He's always been one of the most technical players in the selection pool, is still 27, and when in form will be useful as a bench player at least.

The game itself doesn't matter. What we should be happy about is that the team has clearly been working on a few things, and that they seem to be moving in the right direction tactically. Just basic stuff. It's like being happy that your problem kid started doing his homework and taking out the trash.

Good start and I finally like how we are FINALLY organized. In bentos system we need to rely on individual brilliance to win matches. Finesse type players leading the attack
It's of course a friendly, however Costa Rica is still a WC team fwiw. Biggest thing i take from today is it's refreshing to see Bento and his staff give mins to a good rotation of players today. Something simple and obvious (and what friendlies are for) that Shite Lee-Kee was allergic to. He talked a lot of players up, called them up and would never even use them. Some real and measured momentum now. Something we have not had in a very long time. Would really like to see SHM rested more. And Desert Rot? Apply Bento Cream!!!
