That was all on the goalkeeper. Total amateur league mistake. He tried to catch it instead of parrying it. That was Karius in the Champions League Final level of bad goalkeeping. Inexcusable really.
^ Colombia sucks, how is that our problem? I bet if KNT participates in Copa America we can surprise many teams. CHW is a great keeper and European clubs should be all over him.
A very interesting answer from Bento when asked about his plans on utilizing Lee Chung-yong, Lee Jae-sung, Kwon Chang-hoon and Lee Seung-woo in the future: “We also have Nam Tae-hee.”Nam has been recovering from a torn ACL injury since November.— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) March 26, 2019 Kkkk
We're at a better place than with stielke or STY at least. I'm still optimistic as at least it looks like the players are playing with confidence under him.
No manager is perfect, but I think Bento has the skills to make a WC campaign memorable. A proper defensive strategy can carry an underdog far. Nothing too elaborate is needed: well-drilled counterattacks to take advantage of Korean pace, and hard work in defense. I'm hoping set pieces can be worked on, too. The Japanese can be deadly from direct FK-s, and Korea should focus on matching this.
What do you expect from a nation that is inappropriate language (warning sent)? Pathetic sportsmanship. Anyhow, what I wanna say about this match: JHY: 빛현우. Wouldve been 2-3 defeat if it werent for him. But we all know Bento will use KSG instead. HIB: Tried to make creative passes but none of them worked (blocked by defenders) JWY: JWY was being JWY. Tried to dribble for no reason around our goal and lost the ball 3 times that led to dangerous counterattacks. Fking drop him already. WHY DRIBBLE NEARBY OUR FINAL THIRD WHEN YOU CANT EVEN DRIBBLE SHIT? He did that multiple times, not just once. He's a retard. LCY/LJS: Tried to make a few good runs, but not that effective. NSH: was pissed when he got subbed in over LSW. He did his job tho as a sub. KCH: one good run. not enuf time to show anything. KMJ: Was a beast. Makes me wonder again why he went to China. FKING CHINA. KMH: He's clearly our future. Still needs to work on his passes/crosses a little bit tho. HUJ: erased by Sanchez. He did well in the first half tho. He also tried his best to hold the ball in the final third till our players went up. LKI/BSH/LSW: SHM: Was the best player in the first half, obviously. And he clearly got pissed by these dirty Colombian players:
KNT needs to get rid of JWY asap. He's useless and a constant liability. Weak as fck and has absolutely no grit in him, especially given he's the CDM of choice. Absolutely comical.
Good game. But who is Kim Moon-hwan? Kid was lost today. He thought he was in salsa class. Back to Lee Yong then.
Why can't Son just stfu and pass the damn ball tho? Two good runs from Hwang Uijo. 0 passes. 1 retart shot.
Right. We were talking about Lee Kang-in and all of a sudden he brings up Nam Tae-hee. Jesus. What a buzz kill.
I noticed this too. I think SHM really wanted to score. He used to pass even when he was open to shoot himself but he was a bit selfish today. But I'd rather see him shoot more than playing as a playmaker.
I think it was this peasant that was smacking gums at shm Victory tastes so sweet. Saw that Chilean peasant #10 play v USA today. The one shm scalped. Lmao Morella midfielder Diego Valdes made a racist gesture before Chile’s match against South Korea. Then Son did this to him 2 minutes into the match 💀 pic.twitter.com/gqr0BGF44m— Futhead (@Futhead) September 11, 2018
It doesn't matter. If someone misses a clear cut chance, that's on them. SHM as a captain and KNT player should pick his head up and assess the best option. This "shooters gonna shoot" mentality may work for that shit sport called basketball but in a game where chances are limited, you have to make an intelligent decision. It creates a dangerous example for younger players to think it's okay or normal to be selfish in the box.
