Is there a reason why not all soccer matches use FIFA official football?

A great game so far, despite some head shaking moments by our GK/DFs. Almost has a WC match feeling.

Interesting that FIFA doesn't MAKE you use the official ball only.

Is that Korean girl using her binoculars backwards? LOL

Wow YSY makes his return. Would be great to see him return to his Hoffenheim form.

Son you gotta shoot that, no point passing in that situation.

Yeah, it reminds me of the Germany match only except the Chileans are faster with their tempo. Also, Kim Young-gwon playing well at the back under the Chilean pressure as well.

It sucks that he is stuck with the Guangzhou Evergrande reserve team and will probably not play a competitive match until after the winter transfer window.

(Which probably means we’ll see more Jang Hyun-soo )

Yea, also had a good pass to free up HEJ. He has his fair share of stupid ass moments but its plays like that which don't make him useless

there isn't an official ball for FIFA. only for specific tournament specific official match balls like in the WC.

WC 2018 = Adidas Telstar 18. friendlies the home team usually uses their sponsorship's ball, our case it's Nike. AFC is also sponsored by Nike, so Asian Cup 2019 in January will have a Nike ball as well.

Premier League, Serie A, La Liga = Nike
K League, Bundesliga, MLS = Adidas

    and so on.

Say what you will, but we would've been trashed badly by now under Stielike and Shin Tae-yong.

SHM has improved in defense so much. His work rate is quite good now. I wish HEJ would contribute to pressuring straight away instead of lying on the group or stopping whenever he has a mistouch/missed shot.

He was unregistered by Guangzhou Evergrande and the foreign quota is all filled up, so he can’t play for their A team.

He couldn’t leave during the summer transfer window due to Guangzhou Evergrande demanding too much for his transfer fee.

(Even Hong Jeong-ho is still stuck in China. Couldn’t fully transfer to Jeonbuk since Jiangsu Suning was asking too much, so he waiting to ride his contract out.)

Well, we're playing 2 blocks of 4 in defense, so he needs to track back and defend every time.

We mainly use Nike balls for friendlies and tournaments such as the Asian Cup and Asian Games. The only time we'll be playing with the official FIFA licensed ball is right before and during the WC.

If he has been playing like this in the CSL, then I understand why Lippi rated him.
