Let's hope this winter! Wouldn't even mind the K League if he can't find an European club. Just away from that shite league.
i sincerely hope bento does not make the mistake of retaining nam taehee in the squad for the asian cup. he has zero business making the team over other deserving players. lee geunho in particular deserves a proper sendoff. 5 starts as an attacking midfielder with zero experimentation in other positions suggests that bento could be valuing nam taehees ability to receive the ball in the centre of the pitch in between opposing players. while its unfortunate that not many other players in the squad offer this particular skillset bento has to realize after 5 matches nam taehee provides absolutely nothing else
Luongo was also disappointing imo, as so was Milligan and Mooy. Mabil, Rogic, and Behich were very threatening.
Considering, this is our B-team, no one should be disappointed other than the fact that Koo is no longer capable of playing for the national team, and Kim Seung-gyu is still a terrible keeper to be playing over Cho Hyun-woo. The Aussie's were threatening for the first 20 minutes in the first half, but they fell apart as Hwang Eui-jo broke through their defense from a beautiful pass by Kim Min-jae, thus trailing for the rest of the match, and it was their strongest side as well. it was also quite a scene to see Graham Arnold desperately looking like a sweaty priest in a children's playground until the equalizer. Aside from the the lucky equalizer when the clock hit the mark, our defense did make a lot of saves albeit the minor shakiness, all in all it was as I've expected, nothing too extravagant nor did we look underwhelming, we were fine and the errors we've made should be worked on, but the rebuilding of the team by Bento is clearly evident, so that is a plus. I also want to mention the fact that Suk won us a lot of the ball, majority from fouls committed on him by the Aussies, as well as he's been drawing out defenders, help defend as well as trying to create necessary space, something of which Kim Shin-wook failed to do, especially against a very lackluster Swedeish side at the WC.
reminds me a bit of fector I don't think it matters what KSG knew. KSG's save from No24 counts as a rebound, and there's no offside for that. I'll just leave it at that. We're not going to agree. You stretch things more than I can agree with.
ugh - can't find any extended highlights but: that was piss fckin poor from ksg. didn't even have to reach for it, not too much pace, and it rolls into his hands and off his chest. abs rookie mistake i hope bento learns quick. There's no need for to experiment any longer w our gks
During his tenure as Portugal NT's manager, Bento got critizised for not giving other players a chance and stick to his favorites (M.Veloso, R.Meireles, etc). Let's hope it's just a temporary thing..
Good set piece deliveries in this game. With a bit of fine tuning, this could be useful in serious games.
Some random marks (+/-) : Kim Min-Jae : +++ Hwang In-Beom : ++ Hwang Eui-Jo : ++ Kim Young-Kwon : + Suk Hyun-Jun : + Nam Tae-hee : - - - Lee Yong : - - Moon Sun-Min : - - Hong Chul : - - Koo Ja-Cheol : - Kim Seung-Gyu : -
Looking forward for couple of the KNT guys to make the move to better clubs this winter. Cho Hyun Woo, Hwang Ui Jo, Hwang In Beom, Kim Min Jae, Kim Young Gwon.
A striker can't do much if he doesn't receive a pass. He ran a lot, won duels, had some good positionings, etc. With better players he would've looked better. He is lacking confidence as he isn't playing regularly at Reims and always gets compared to HUJ who is in a terrific form. He's still by miles better than KSW.
