Not sure how Mikel gets more minutes and RLC rides the bench....

How does Ramires miss that? He has done that a lot the past few years; but who can forget that chip against Barca in the UCL?

Most promising thing so far this pre-season is Moses. So direct.

He isn't perfect, but good lord is he challenging for defenders. That's all we really need. Someone to go after defenders. Be direct. We have Eden, that's it.

I'm resigned to Remy or Falcao being our strike rotation. Costa has the worst hammys in the world.

Based on what we've seen so far, I really wouldn't mind Falcao getting some starts. At least in the beginning of the season to see if he can find his feet. I've liked him during his brief preseason. Remy is always a solid option as well.

Agreed with the sentiments on Moses; he's looked a consistent threat and has only gotten sharper since being possibly our best performer in that forgettable match against Red Bulls

Jose confirms that Diego felt something in his hamstring and the high potential of a broken nose for Gaz

Better now than during the season, honestly.

What style of player was Kennedy?

Seemed kind of like a bigger, physically stronger, left-footed, 19-year-old version of Willian. It seems that he's most often compared with Hulk, but we didn't really get a good look at his shooting ability. Jose said we were looking to secure a work permit for him after the match

I highly doubt Kenedy gets a work permit and if he did we would have too many players for that position. If Cuadrado gets sold/loaned (he didnt get any minutes like RLC. still not sure what to read into that) than maybe there is room but I highly doubt he gets a permit.

I feel like the last two games were used to get the first team members ready for Sundays match against Arsenal. We can used the Fiorentina pre-season match and the remaindef of the summer to asses the players lacking minutes.

On the flip side why play someone we aren't surely going to sign?

He has already signed for us (or will). He just will not get a permit to play in England.
