Could the Flash and Boca merge, each of their ownership groups taking a 50% share and combining their players, Much like Paris FC and Stade Saint-Germain did, on a much smaller scale, and join USL-Pro as a stepping stone to MLS?

    short answer: no
reason why as from what I've learn from folks around here and in general is the former management of flash by boca head Yan is pretty much what divides the clubs from coming together since Yan(and some other lesser known people) drove flash down in financial problems/management etc.
both clubs also have different views on trying to get to MLS, flash wants to go the USL route and boca is....trying to do something...the stadium idea I think has gone under so Im guessing its just try and make a name in the NPSL and get some investors
actually flash is also trying to get local investors and anyone can become one with the right amount
anyways boca and flash uniting is a pretty distant idea here in SD, most of us from what Ive read are waiting for MLS to expand and for SD to get some seriously loaded investors
