    They have previously played up in Hartford, it's my guess is that Dandy Don more or less forced the issue.

    CONCACAF likely had a say in the matter. Venues have to meet certain international standards to host international & continental region games. It's why Saprissa can't play CCL games at their home stadium anymore.

    Liga MX president Enrique Bonilla has confirmed that promotion and relegation from and to the league have been suspended for five years, following a vote conducted during a video meeting of the 18 Liga MX club owners on Friday.

    If I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying that the 18 current clubs voted that they can't be relegated, and that no one else can come in to their league? Either I'm misunderstanding, or that's awfully self-serving.

    Austin FC, which was announced back in January 2019 and made significant progress before the onset of the pandemic, will remain on schedule for a 2021 launch. The other three clubs, all announced in the second half of 2019, will each have their expansion seasons rescheduled by one year. The updated schedule follows below:

    • Austin FC: 2021 inaugural season
    • Charlotte: 2022 inaugural season
    • St. Louis: 2023 inaugural season
    • Sacramento: 2023 inaugural season

    UPSL is pleased to announce Valley Stars FC as its newest expansion club ahead of the Spring Season.
    Based in Bethlehem, PA, Valley Stars FC will begin UPSL play in the Northeast Conference American Division. The club will host its UPSL home games at Iron Lakes Sports Club (3557 Shankweiler Rd, Allentown, PA 18104).
    Valley Stars FC was founded and is co-owned by Emiliano Peralta and Richard Guedes.

    I am watching Austin vs. KC because it is a national game and my son and his wife are moving to Austin in two weeks.

    It bring me memories of our first season. Soich was possible back then. Now, we have a history. Some not so good but still a lot of good has happened. I hope the fans of Austin enjoy the ride. Except when they play the Union.
