I always though "C'mon the U" ment, come on (Philadelphia) Union. Now it seems it might mean come on to the USL. Not sure the FO are even that ambitious.
It’s kinda an other teams suck post, but just wanted @Dills to know I’m flying biz class to London next week and catching the Chelsea Arsenal League Cup match with a client. I’m actually more excited about the upper deck of the British Airways 744.
Kljestan heading to Orlando City. http://www.espn.com/soccer/major-le...city-in-trade-from-new-york-red-bulls-sources Moral of the story ... donning the RBNY captain's armband is the kiss of death.
As long as you brougt it up. Today was the last flight of a US Passenger 747 - it was delivered to the bone yard by Delta. I love flying BA (aka Speedbird) but they could take better care of their 747s.
UPSL just keeps absorbing more and more leagues/teams. Interesting that it seems their travel distance will be upped with the UPSL.. Brotherly Game says they are keeping a team in NPSL too... and I think they are in the local Philly league too... these guys are everywhere.
Maybe the could also become the Philly market's MLS team...they certainly couldn't do much worse than the Union.

http://owlsports.com/news/2018/1/18/football-temple-to-seek-approvals-for-multipurpose-facility.aspx Zombie NASL certainly not a realistic candidate anymore, but I do wonder if a team/league of any sort will try to move in as a tenant.
fully expect Miami Vice on Monday: http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/soccer/20180124_ap_86035719e7ec4419a110e6697b13984c.html
What is the chance that rather than start a new team, he is buying the Union and moving them to Miami? Less than a 1% chance is my guess. But, it sure would be interesting times if it came to pass.
There are a lot of sources spreading a rumor that Messi wants to join the new Miami team. Here is one: http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/mls/article197394399.html. Does the Union still have a discovery claim on him?
I don't think it would matter either way. My understanding is that another club can contest the validity of a discovery claim if the club holding the claim does not intend to make a reasonable offer for the player. The Union aren't going to convince anyone they had the intent to put a legit offer in for Messi because everyone knows they don't have the means to do so.
Probably could have stopped right there. I have a hunch that the Miami Beckhams will become one of the league's favored teams, so if changing rules screws us but benefits them you can bet it'll happen.
How many celebrities congratulated Jay et al on landing a team in Chester? Can probably count them on one hand. Compare that to the number of celebrities who have acknowledged Becks and his Miami team? Social media is shoving it down our throats. And, yes, I AM envious.
@Dills you don't know the half of it.... #ATLUTD main owner: I'm worth $4 billion #FutbolMiamiMLS main owner: Well, I'm worth over $15 billion#NYCFC main owner: *laughing* me? $38 billion#DOOP (Philly Union) main owner: pic.twitter.com/gmuUCqBvkI— The Cooligans (@SoccerCooligans) January 29, 2018
