Eh, my reading comprehension is probably lacking right now. There is definitely a correlation between it and the amount of sleep I've been getting.
My post probably read like a play date. Sleep gets better. I know some of the dads in here commented that they have not slept in years (or had not when their kids were little). We happen to have two amazing sleepers (and from when they were both very little). How lucky we have been with our two brings us to wonder if having a third would tempt fate.
Tim has gotten into these talks that he wants an even number of kids. I told him I could see us having one more kid. Two or four he says. You know I would love to have more kids, but the reality is that kids are a whole lot of work. Moms shoulder a lot (and that is nothing negative against dads, I love my father and my husband very dearly).
I could post for days on 1) my favorite Oatmeal strips (Roddenberry, hands down) and 2) my favorite internet strips on parenting. Fowl Language Comics is one of my favorites.
Honest Toddler used to be a very good follow for parents on Facebook/Twitter. But I think she's gotten away from baby/toddler/parenting jokes.
Actually, the one above and the "My Dog, the paradox" one are about the only Oatmeal strips I know/remember. Dog paradox one is a personal favorite of mine (not just Oatmeal), especially as both my dogs twilighted last year and then eventually had to be put down a few months back. R.I.P. little buddy... okay and you too other dog.
Welp, so far, Connor has tolerated going to matches quite well. The first few games we had to bundle him up quite a bit but now that it is warmer it is quite a bit easier. I swear that he makes noises in the cadence of the Save the Crew chant when we are around the house and he loves the stuffed bear that sings "Columbus 'til I Die" when he squeezes it. Here's a picture from the Open Cup match with good ol' Frankie trying to give the kid some beer.
