Excellent, thanks for the heads up. Glad to see nasl has a combine but I'm curious who will be called in as mls draft has a good 4 rounds +. But then again there will be a number of mls drafts that will be dropped and looking.
Well we have at least two I think I've heard another rumor of another Honduran vet in the mix. Minnesota won twice in recent years with a purely Minnesota based team. Not saying I want to go that route, butin the end it's chemistry that'll win games Edit*** plus one one nasl's top strikers last season and he's only 23. Not blockbusters but still showing an interesting turn out. I'm eager to see who else joins
none of the hoosiers who were invited to the mls combine were picked yesterday. i hope the club will give bushue, kotlov and corrado a call to see if they're interested. word is that petts is going pro in something other than soccer.
“There is a ton of logistics. We need to improve the facility. There is a lot of work to do at Carroll Stadium to bring it up to standard so our fans can have a great experience,” said Wilt. “We’ve signed 11 players, we still have ten or eleven players left to sign so there is a lot of work to do.” Read more: http://fox59.com/2014/01/17/indy-el...-before-their-inaugural-season/#ixzz2qfaGDGYR
There is another MLS draft on Tusday, 1 of the 20 so called drafts MLS has. The NASL combine is the 24th, so I would assume some of the guys that do not get drafted may go to FL for the NASL combine. Here is who is allowed to attend http://www.nasl.com/article/uuid/k7...ced-college-coaches-on-board-for-nasl-combine
Best of luck to Petts. I have been pretty busy the last few years, so I haven't been able to see many IU matches. I always thought Petts was a special talent during his youth career. I would have liked to see him to give Indy Eleven a run. But that being said I am pretty excited to see some Hoosiers being signed.
There is a combine, January 24-26 at the University of California, Urvine. NASL website link is broken, so I'll use this one instead: http://www.atlantasilverbacks.com/fc/news/item/nasl-combine-set-for-irvine-california
corrado and kotlov were drafted by mls teams today. that leaves bushue and mckain as the remaining graduating seniors and mares as an underclassman who signed with an agent.
Grass In The Sky @GrassInTheSky110m .@IndyEleven set to announce the signings of @BradRing87 and Mike Ambersley. BR formerly of @SJEarthquakes and MA of @MNUnitedFC. #NASL
Same draft as last week, just continued. Even the NFL Draft plays out over multiple days now. It was in all the papers. Shit, the PRO BOWL draft started Tuesday and finishes today. I am aware of the SuperDraft, the Supplemental Draft, the Re-Entry Draft and the occasional Expansion Draft. What are the other 16 drafts MLS has?
Ring is a very solid pick up by you guys. He was a back up D-Mid for us in San Jose. He can play emergency center back as well. Solid defensively, excellent in the air even though he's on the shorter side. Treat him well!

Im not sure if you guys follow Indiana University soccer or not, but I was wondering what you guys think of AJ Corrado, who was drafted by the Quakes in the 3rd round.
i think he's always been overrated throughout his iu career. he had a lot of assists as a junior, but he doesn't finish his own easy chances. decision making is not the best, and he doesn't look like he works very hard on the field. i think he's the type of player who will really struggle to adjust to mls' level of play. you might read through the iu threads from the last couple of years in the college forum and ask this question there.
a lot of mock drafts that i saw had corrado in the first round or early second round. i thought that was way too high. i think taking him in the third round was about right, but i wouldn't expect any significant contributions from him.
http://indyeleven.com/walter-ramirez-signing/ Walter Ramirez is the 11th player signed. Played with San Antonio in the NASL.
https://mobile.twitter.com/indyelevenlive Lost 2:3 vs. Vancouver Whitecaps. Goals by Mendes and Smart. Not bad for their first ever exhibition. http://www.nasl.com/article/uuid/ds...leven-2-vancouver-whitecaps-fc-3#.UvL1qOqYbIU
