No disrespect to Helio but that Indy 500 was crap. Too bad the only car out there that had enough power to possibly pass Helio (the car that had worked it's way up the field and was nipping at Helio's heels for the past few laps) and make the race exciting conveniently lost 4 spots during the final pit stops due to a tire changer making a mistake. How convenient also that that same team was a temporary Penske team. Any chance the Captain made a little call down to their pit box? "Hey, tell tire changer X to just mess up enough to drop Power back a few spots, we need Helio to win this one." The result, Helio used most of his record breaking $3 million winnings to pay his lawyers that had just saved him from several years in jail and Penske will run Will Power for a few more races later in the season to make it up to him. "Thanks Will, we'll get ya' later in the season." Oh well, the IRL as we know it may only be around another year or two anyway and then we may get true racing back to the Brickyard. Tony's sisters are tired of him financing the IRL with IMS money, once they cut that off the IRL won't last a full season and innovation will be able to return to American open-wheel racing.
