Member of Netherland U-21 3. Emilio Audero Mulyadi (Juventus/Italy) Italian Nationality. His Father is Indonesian, His mom is Italian. One of the best Young Goalkeeper in Italy at the moment. Former member of Italy U-18. 4. Sandy Walsh (K.R.C Genk/Belgium) Dutch Nationality. His Grandparents from his mother are from Indonesia. He is mixed blood of Irish, Belgian, Indonesian. Former Member of Netherland U-20. 5. Joey Suk (Go Ahead Eagles/Netherland) Dutch Nationality. His grandparents are from Indonesia. He was actually in the first wave of the Naturalization projects, probably Indonesia FA will continue the process after being delayed for few years.
The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have shortlisted 12 naturalised players to attend trials for the Under-18 team which will compete at the AFF U18 Championship later in the year. The AFF Under-18 Championship will be held on 4-17 September 2017 in Yangon, Myanmar. Official trials under head coach Indra Sjafri will be held in April and should they make the cut, they will also be eligible to play for the AFC U19 qualifiers (October). “If Luis (Milla, the Indonesian national head coach) should require it, then there is every possibility that they might also play for the U22 team for the SEA Games (in August),” Sjafri added. Thanks for the article, well actually none of them are naturalized, they are Indonesian Citizen who lived/played abroad. while Jack Brown and George Bown are brothers, their mom are Indonesian and their Dad are from England. They both born and raised in Indonesia If I'm not mistaken.
Meanwhile from Indonesia League, Persib just signed ex-Chelsea , Michael Essien as their new player for the upcoming season. It is also rumored that Persib still pursuing another World Class players, probably Didier Drogba, Diego Forlan or Dimitar Berbatov. Michael Essien wasn't the first high profile footballer playing in Indonesia, back in the early 90's Argentinean Legend, Mario Kempes, and African Legend Roger Milla used to play in Indonesia. The final table of Indonesia Liga 1 : Bhayangkara FC becomes a champion. Unfortunately, they can't represents Indonesia in ACL or AFC Cup because they don't have the license to compete in Asia. PSM makassar have the same case as well It means Bali United, Persija Jakarta and Madura United will represent Indonesia in ACL or AFC cup.
