You'd be surprised. Real life is mirroring FIFA more than you think if you examine transfers closely. Salah has played for what, five clubs now, not counting his time in Egypt. Neymar goes from Barca to PSG and is now angling to go to Madrid a year later. But for Chelsea specifically, yeah, we can't afford to have superstars everywhere on the pitch and on the bench. Just not our model.
Not a new thing, really. Figo played for Barca, Madrid, and Inter. Ronaldinho played for Madrid and AC Milan. Eto'o played for us, Inter, Barca, and Madrid (Though brief). Fat Ronaldo played for Inter, Milan, Madrid, and Barca. Zlatan played for Inter, Milan, Juve, Barca, and United. Zidane played for Juventus and Madrid. There's a few more who have done similar.
There's this, but I think people also mean "FIFA" in a way of stacking super talents across your whole team. There's maybe 5 teams who can do that now: Barca, Madrid, City, Munich, United. I wouldn't say PSG because they haven't totally done it to a level of the others. That's .00001% of all the teams out there. Some Chelsea fans want that to happen but it ain't gunna.
It's not really a new thing, though. Massimo Moratti was spending like mad for Inter, Madrid has been doing that for ages too. Those other teams mentioned were already doing that for ages bar PSG.
Morata has been pictured in Milan with his agent and the head scout for Juve. Been linked with both Juve and Milan. Keep an eye on this one.
Mind-blowing if he actually does leave. Unsurprising giving his temperment and perceived lack of desire to even be in London but ********...
Well it's been rumored heavily that he and his partner are really unhappy in London. Add in the kid they're about to have and you have this scenario. I don't begrudge him. They're still just people.
I didn't say anything to the contrary. Mind-blowing as in.. yet again.. we bring on a striker who was more than happy with where he was at only to have him want to leave as soon as he gets here. Ridiculous on our part. On the positive, I suppose this paves the way for Michy to be our numero uno unless we decide to try and force out another big money striker from their home.
LOL, what temperament? He's not said a thing negatively all season, even as he's been dropped in favor of Giroud! Honestly, what do people want of players?
Not about us but Mou back to his old tactics trying to get Fred to beat City to him but ultimately won't know how to use him
I think we should take a flyer on Shaqiri. He's still only 26 and should come cheap with Stoke going down. I think he'd make a great replacement for Pedro. He won't need to adjust to the league either. We still need to upgrade from Willian. It won't happen but a Willian for Martial swap should be the goal.
