We need to move on from theses older players Phil...we know he’s a legend but we need new blood. You need to learn to be ok with change and not be so dependent on these legends. His level of play will come down.
I don't think you are getting my point, friendo. It's not about which players I want or not. As long as someone like him keeps getting called up by Tata for games that matter, he's relevant for a thread like this. He will be someone we'll have to take into consideration, even if he plays in MMLS. The contrary would also have to be considered. If the player were a complete nobody, but there were a rumor linking him to a big league, it would be wise having him here.
K. Seriously stop trying to make mmls players a thing Phil. He’s a legend but he’s retiring duela a quien le duela. You need to move on.
No one is particularly excited about guardado going to the MLS. Therefore, I believe it belongs in the “not chingones” thread.
It should be here!!! Nobody wants him to go to mls but he’s an important player (only our captain) and some people don’t even check the other thread
The whole debacle that ended with the mods creating these two threads was so that the higher profile transfers to Europe wouldn’t get diluted with nothing transfers to meh leagues. No matter how important Guardado is to the NT, this rumour should go into the other thread. Now I hope this forum eventually reverts back to its old self and finally deletes the X player @ X MLS club threads that are popping up everywhere, but that’s another discussion.
Guardado, so long as he's on the NT, is a relevant player. Moreno is a similar situation. Rumors about them belong here. Transfers No-chingones thread is about transfers that have very little impact on our discourse of Mexican football. Dudes that will probably not be in the NT discussion any time soon, etc.
If you guys don’t like it then you can just be banned from this thread. Next person that complains about Guardado to the MMLS will get banned from this thread.
So basically if you a chignon and go to a non-chignon team based in @el chingon hometown you still in the chingones thread y ya déjense de chingar o los chingan...
Report that Andres Guardado is set to sign for two more years with Real Betis. There had been some suggestions that he'd be moving to MLS next year. #eltrieng https://t.co/RiwETFWgdR— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) September 26, 2019

@medranoazteca reporting that Betis have people here watching JJ Macias.— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) October 3, 2019
To me Betis should not be in the market to buy young unproven players, they should stay in their lane and just stick to affordable proven older players. it's a mid table team that can flirt with relegation from time to time so if any lesson comes out of the lainez fiasco is to stick with what you know. Some of my friend are really into investing in the market, I don't really feel comfortable with it so I just stick to other forms of investments, what I know.
Macias rumor szn has begun. Man U scouts were also watching him:
