if you mean the dropping more than a point a game to the leaders under José that was me. i described it as mid to lower table form though not relegation. maybe someone else said that

Irrespective of who said, it is true. Next couple of matches will show us how much ole and players has to improve.
The PSG game has clearly shown us the holes in the squad and areas of improvement required. The question for now is what tweaks Ole will apply to get results in the coming games. Especially with some very important players potentially missing. He said the right things post game yesterday and we'll see how he and the staff implement that in a practical sense Monday vs Chelsea and then when Pool come to OT.
Very hypocrite, He is talking about CL when his Arsenal team didnt managed to go beyond Last 16 for last 7 yrs and getting thrashed even at home by Bayern and he managed the same club for 2 decades.
No but it merely confirmed what we suspected those deficiencies were. Or clearly highlighted them for those who didn't know...
I think there was ounce of hope with offensive football / motivated squad he could cover that up till summer of course.
We've talked enough on this board alone of what we need for the team come this summer. So, as stated, our deficiencies and needs really should not be some type of revelation to anyone. They were put on full display yesterday for the most part and in the end, whether Ole gets the job or someone else does, the important thing is for the manager to get seriously backed by Woodward in the market. There is quality in the squad (both currently and even on the way up) but also we've also got positions that need to be seriously tended to as well. And that could cost serious money.
It's simple, we should bring in a DOF first, then Poch, then spend money on positions in this order: RW, CDM, CB, RB.
We all know what happened at Cardiff City. I do not want read too much into how he did at Molde looking at WIki. It looks like he did fairly ok. Anyone have any insights and any other info regarding Ole's term with Molde second time around?
The path forward is clear: Give Ole a contract. Bring in a proper CB to partner with Lindelof and Bailly with either Smalling or Jones as the #4 with either Tuanzebe and Fosu-Mensah as our #5 CB. Cut our losses with Lukaku and Sanchez (grudgingly in the case of Sanchez but his wages it impossible for him to be relegated to a squad man). Bring in a proper RW. I wish I could suggest names but we may have to take a chance on an unknown, a young Ronaldo who more likely than not won't work out but offers incredible potential. Maybe the answer is Chong. maybe not. I'd like to see Gomes given a chance but it's anyone's guess as to whether he really has the potential to make a contribution to the first team by next season -- he's still only 18 I believe. Promote Greenwood to the first team squad. Bring in a proper holding mid to ease out Matic. But keep Matic for another season as the new holding mid steps up. Not sure what to do about Pereira. Once we're safe in fourth place I'd like to see Ole give him a run of games where he can be fairly judged. Until then, we'll have to ride Pogba, Herrera and Matic pretty hard. I'm not obsessed with a DoF as some are here. If the club hires one, grand. If not, I'm sure we'll somehow survive. Clubs that have DoF aren't guaranteed glory, but there is something to be said for a DoF especially if we bring in Ole.
the Cardiff thing is old and i don't know why Solskjær is the scapegoat for that as if the club wasn't already a mess
I agree with this, but I feel this is only the beginnings of a long future. Carrick, and Ole, too in some regards, are learning the manager trade. A well-rounded staff functioning well with moving parts is always a sum greater than the whole. Sir Alex had his CQ - and they were a formidable pair. I believe this staff will have ramifications throughout the coming years for our club. Nicky Butt must be included as well.
Playing in London, what about it? That's what Ole surely must be thinking right now after wins at the Bridge, the Emirates and Wembley. Side note those are some pretty important scalps also: what he's doing is no fluke or flash in the pan. If there was any doubts, Ole is for real.
I just read it in an article, it didn’t show its working. Not sure what you’re asking though - 2/14 = 14%, 3/3 = 100%. The Spurs FA Cup win under Mou was technically neutral.
