I'd love to hear Bo or any other pro-illegal immigration person give an honest defense of the overpopulation problem coming....caused by illegal immigration. I was listening to population experts on a radio show talk about how in heavily mexican populated areas of the US are already facing water shortages. White Americans have zero population growth, Black Americans have slight population growth but hispanics are having so many kids that it is projected to cause massive environmental damage.

Politicians won't talk about this because it is apparently racist to tell the truth.

So I saw this op/ed piece the other day
    http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/opinion/2008137644_froma26.html

    and found these quotes interesting:

"Promoters of open borders like to drag race into any discussion of immigration, so that even those who focus on numbers, not skin color, fear to speak. The Sierra Club leaders have gone into hiding on the matter. Even when you limit the subject to illegal immigration, they're under the bed.

In 2004, Lamm and two other environmentalists wanting to address population pressures ran for the Sierra Club's board. They all lost after the club's executive director, Carl Pope, announced that "they are clearly being supported by racists." (One of them, Frank Morris, had been director of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation.)

The full story can be found at www.susps.org. SUSPS used to call itself Sierrans for U.S. Population Stabilization. Fred Elbel, a former director and Denver resident, describes himself as a liberal Democrat who left the party in frustration over its failure to confront the demographic realities of immigration."

So this means liberals simply don't want to face reality. It's apparently an inconvenient truth.

So I went over to www.susps.org - the group of environmentalist who want to tackle the problem that immigration and illegal immigration is causing. This is what they say....

"Since 1996, leaders of the Sierra Club have refused to admit that immigration driven, rapid U.S. population growth causes massive environmental problems. And they have refused to acknowledge the need to reduce U.S. immigration levels in order to stabilize the U.S. population and protect our natural resources. Their refusal to do what common sense says is best for the environment was a mystery for nearly a decade.

Then, on Oct. 27, 2004, the Los Angeles Times revealed the answer: David Gelbaum, a super rich donor, had demanded this position from the Sierra Club in return for huge donations! Kenneth Weiss, author of the LA Times article that broke the story, quoted what David Gelbaum said to Sierra Club Executive Director Carl Pope:

"I did tell Carl Pope in 1994 or 1995 that if they ever came out anti-immigration, they would never get a dollar from me."

But these aren't the only environmental group telling the truth.

    http://www.ecofuture.org/

"Mass immigration accounts for 70% of U.S. Population growth! Specifically, according to environmental journalist Roy Beck (www.NumbersUSA.com), 70% of U.S. poplulation growth in the 1990's resulted from mass immigration, comprised of approximately 1.1 million legal permanent additions and 300,000 to 400,000 illegal additions annually. Immigration will be responsible for 90% of America's population growth in the next 50 years. "

And this isn't a debate like global warming, this is a tangible, provable environmental problem.

These guys are leftist communist and still admit immigration and illegal immigration is a problem

    http://www.overpopulation.org/

And let's face it, we are facing water shortages and conservation is needed

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21494919/

but it's ok to bring in millions (several million here illegally) that breed at a disproportionately high rate?

well here is some more reading

I wouldn't worry Microwave. When John McCain is elected.

Oh wait, he's terrible on immigration.

It was one of the main reasons I voted Ron Paul in the primary.
