I've switched to the Wizards skin, and I'm not seeing images in tags.

And, yes, in my Options, I have "show images" selected.

    It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Same here - I tried switching from the new Big Soccer skin to DC United and back again and I'm getting no images in Opera.

Looks like the problem is fixed (at least for me, using the Fire skin and Firefox)

So, for anybody who suffered the "No Image" error, then successfully recovered the use of images, was a restart of the browser neccessary to clear the error, or did proper selection of skin the solution and it worked immediately.

Right now, I've tried just about everything, and I am still stuck in opera without images. (caveat, yes "Show Images" is checked, and I am seeing avatars and other bigsoccer images, just not posted images).

Changing skin is all it took to get images to work.

You might check your personal options and make sure you're set up to view images.

I'm having the same problem - using "forum default" skin or Galaxy skin or mlsnet skin. I've checked my options in both Opera and in my profile. What gives?

Really? Just switched back to the DC skin and double-checked my options and I still can't see images.

If you are like me and like to run with JavaScripts turned off, you can not see pictures. All pictures on BS are now JavaScripts, another lovely feature (other then that Beckham add that is)....

I checked my preferences and JavaScripts ARE enabled. Still no images. I'll just assume the images are now not a supportable feature in BigSoccer. There ARE logical reasons for this is BS was getting nasty lawyer letters from rights holders.

Nope, that's not it either - I've got JavaScript turned on. Always have....

I don't know if this is BS or my computer, but I'm getting a script error on pages, "Line: 162 Char: 24" etc...
Tried repping someone, but the little rep window wouldn't open.
Is this the new site or just me?

Edit: My bad, this belongs in the overall "bugs" thread, I suppose.

Maybe this is an opera thing. I am using opera and I still have image failures. Are there others with the problem using Firefox or IE?

OK, everything works in IE, so this is an opera error.

I think I'll just have to switch to IE. BigSoccer head honchos should provide a warning about using Opera with the new BS system.

Or fix it so that it does work with Opera.

Attention all Opera users (I am one of them)

I posted a fix for this in the v3 of the bugs "topic". The problem is due to how Opera implements CSS (importantly; display:none on images). Turning Javascript on/off will not make a difference. Since the CSS style is applied directly on the image tag there is no way to override it with a user style. I thought about a user JavaScript but the fix is easier to implement and is the correct way to hide objects.

Is anybody else having this problem other than Opera users (work for me in Firefox and IE6).

I'm not sure exactly how to use the fix. Instructions, please?
